Chapter 101
Asher couldn't deny that it was fun hanging out with his wife and kid at the hair salon of all places. He especially cherished the look on Pepper's face as she witnessed all the women in the shop ogling him and hitting on him all day long.
"I shouldn't have let you wear that shirt. You look too good in it" She complained to him.
Ashed smiled softly but didn't say anything.
"Look ulgy at least, '' Pepper told him further.
"I don't know how to look ulgy. There is no hiding all of this" Asher made a model face that made Pepper laugh out. He joined in briefly but his was not as cheerful.
When Pepper finally stopped laughing she looked at him intently.
"We will get through this, I promise. We will be just fine. Just the three of us, together as a family"
