Chapter 8 - Alpha's toy 8

Crystal's POV

Being driven down to school by my driver, I hoped out of the car the moment he parked the car at its normal spot right from the moment which I started schooling here in this school. I mean when I was little.

Even if I attempt to persuade him to use another spot, he won't agree with me to do so. Instead, he would argue against me, attempting to tell me how beautiful of a view it is to park there where he has always packed.

After a long time, I later discovered that he and his late mate do come down here just to chill and chat with each other cause this is the same school, same spot that he met her.

Since then, they have always come down here as it holds so many memories about them. But now she is no more, she died along with the battle that took my grandparents, including warriors.

She was the daughter of the head warrior, and she is well-trained in fighting. She couldn't resist seating here while warriors of her packs is kill like animals out there just because they are fighting for their rights and packs.

Not only that, but she headed to the war front after so many warnings from both her father and the Alpha.

He who asked her not to dare show up, including her father, who keeps on pleading with her to heed to their warnings of the elders.

And moreover, more dead bodies were sending back home than expected, but she still insisted not to seat behind and mourn the death of those dead bodies that was sent home like some animals found in the bush.

Most especially, they are being sent back home in their wolf form, they aren't allowed to change to their humans form which made it irritating and disgraceful to the werewolves.

In werewolves kingdom, it's preferable for them to die in their humans form, which they came out as well as. Honorable for them to die in their humans form, which is a weak on rather than their strong form.

Being killed in their werewolves establish as well as being sent back home in this form is to humiliate them and tell them they are weak like humans even if they are in their wolf form.

Seeing the kind of humiliation that was being brought to her kind, she was saddened and angry, as well as cry in pain as more bodies of werewolves is sending back home to the pack and their family.

Rather, she prefers to be at the war front fighting for her people's peace for them to be able to have a place to put their heads on and shouldn't be scared of sleeping at night.

She left without looking back to her mate who was weeping knowing that's her weakness but instead, she continues her journey out into the war fall where she fought like the mighty warrior she was trained as.

She did all she could do and then decided to make a deal behind the king by using her life as Barth to save her people from the shame that was brought upon her people.

And the moment she did so, they left into the tiny air, leaving her body to decompose and be fed on until the moment her people find her and give her the beautiful departure she deserves.

After so many days of searching for her since the news of her being at the war front reached the Alpha and her father, they were angry.

And they both hoped for her not to have done something crazy because they know how little she is at making decisions herself.

Every so often, I just sat back and watch him switch from an emotion to another until he finally leaves. He started from smile to missing down to disappointment as well as regret.

And from regret to hating himself for not doing anything to stop her or being a strong man and mate for his mate then later on, he breaks down in tears wailing for her to be back.

But if the wish can't be granted for him, then she should at least be in good condition wherever she is.

And lastly, he did wish for her to eat well and not think about him, whom she left behind.

Instead, she should think of the way her dad do train her and make her feel like a princess after the war, same as her mother who loves her unconditionally. She should also think about those things that do give her joy.

It was of no difference today, he just keeps on weeping, and I couldn't stand there and watch him until he is done. Giving him the respect he deserves, I step away from him after mouthing a quick silent goodbye, then I walked away.

The familiar dusty and wooden smell hit my nostril, bringing me the sense that it's time to be a good individual that am not back at home, as well as forcing me to go through their rules and regulations now.

Especially the fact that its senior year, my first time in senior year. I couldn't help but wonder what exactly those in their second year now would be like and act towards me.

Would they be rude? Disrespectful? Persuasive? Or proud? I thought as different questions keeps on going around my head while staring inside the hallway.

It's the same school I have been attending, but it's a different building and I have never been inside this one before. The question is: Who dares to? No one wants to end up being taken to the Alpha for disobeying the rules of the school.

Majority of the packs attend this school while the rest attends the rest which are just five in numbers. They aren't as strict as this, but still teaches morals to them like it should.

Those who can't survive here, would have no choice than to drop to the one of lesser grades and strictness. A bit all the same, we are graduating with the same certificate…. TBC
