All of a sudden the crimson eyes of the Gorilla shined brighter than the sun, turning the night into day. And all of that light created a pillar the size of a city and seemed to connect heaven to earth.
Everyone in the city was engulfed by that light, and all of that energy was absorbed by Mikey. It lasted only for seconds, but only one in a hundred thousand people were able to see the light, and it wasn't captured by any camera, just like how Vampires can't be seen in the mirror.
There were around 200 people who were inside the circle, who were able to notice the light. Most of them thought it was just a dream or an illusion.
Some guy in the dark.
"Seems like the prophecy has come to pass, the chosen one is in India's capital. Delhi. How many people do you think there are in Delhi who have the talent to wield magic?"
The other guy wearing an all-black overcoat, kneeling in front of the guy on the throne said.
"I think there must be around 10-20 in the whole city. But It is improbable that even a single one has the knowledge you need to wield magic. "
The person sitting on the crown sighed, his voice extruded confidence, strength, maturity, and a bit of sadness.
"We need to kill the chosen one as fast as possible for his own sake. This world is too cruel for him. It seems like it is time for Calamity, to get back in action. Contact all four founders to reach Delhi as fast as possible. I wonder how many lives will be lost this time. The last time this happened 99.7% of all species on earth were annihilated. What do you think will be the result this time? I hope humanity survives. "
The hooded guy was surprised, by what the Clan leader just said.
"Leader, do you really think humanity can perish?"
After listening to his subordinate's question, the leader replied.
"Chickens are the only thing left of the once-mighty dragons, whose strength gave those fake gods a run for their money. What do you think humanity is compared to them?"
Mikey was taken to a hospital, where he got treatment, he had a lot of fractures, bruises, and internal injuries. Somehow his Irises were also burnt, it seemed like someone flashed a high-power laser in his eyes. Doctors had already given up all hope.
Drake was sitting by the Hospital bed.
"Uncle, aunt, you should rest for some time. I will be by his side for today. Don't worry."
Mikey's parents were on a vacation, spending their time on the beaches of Goa. When they heard about the incident they came running back.
After listening to Drake's words Mikey's mum got emotional.
"We will be back in a day at most, thank you so much for taking care of him. May God bless everyone with a pure heart like yours."
After Mikey's parents left, Drake was a little bit frustrated, because he could guess the reason why a Gorilla would attack Mikey out of nowhere.
"Look at what you have done, first you get yourself half-dead, then you worry your parents, and the worst thing of all the Gorilla that you fought is being thrashed by the media. The zoo guys are fighting with the state, to prove that Gorilla is mentally stable, let's hope they win because if not, the jury will give a death sentence to him."
Whilst all this was happening, Mikey was stranded in a dark cave. With no one but him in this universe. He didn't feel any pain, hunger, or any other things humans depend on to survive. After roaming around for some time, he wasn't able to find anything. So he spent his time in a cave meditating. Because he had nothing left to do.
He had a lot of time to think over his life decisions. During the first few hundred years, because of lack of any desires, It increased the temptation of trying to feel what was taken from him. It got to the point where he didn't even want to live anymore. He would rather feel pain than feel nothing, but he had no way to do what he wanted.
But it was only a few centuries ago that he accepted his fate, and found out that feeling nothing is worse than feeling pain. But he would rather live. That's the moment he received enlightenment.
Suddenly after he received enlightenment, he was able to hear a voice. It seemed like the voice belonged to Drake. He heard how his parents were worried about him, and how Gorilla was also being punished for the things he has done.
Then Drake started blurting out more things, he didn't know that Mikey could hear him.
"Mikey, there is a major organization called Calamity, some people say that they are some kind of secret organization which controls the world from the shadows. And a viral post states that a Red Beam of light was seen in our city by some people. They are giving a million dollars for any info they can get about it. There is no info on who will give that money, but it is all so suspicious. And I actually saw that red light, it was so bright and tall, it almost blinded me. I thought it was all a dream. I don't know what to do. I could use those million dollars."
Mikey knew what that red light was, while he was meditating in this world, he was able to feel a weird energy flowing, that was trapped somewhere in his chest. After Mikey was able to circulate that energy in his veins. He slowly started feeling lighter, jumping higher, and running faster.
When he was finally able to circulate that energy through his brain, his thinking ability increased at first, and with time he started recovering some of his memories. He saw everything that happened after he was unconscious. He also saw a strange world, where people used magic in those memories. But it was too hazy to make any sense. But he knew in his heart, that the problem this info will bring with it is not worth even a trillion dollars.
