Author's POV
Sijna was on the hunt with his mates. He rode the boar into the jungle, with his lips still tingling from the kiss. His body feels surreal and worshipped whenever they make love. It's been quite a while since Sijna has felt Roxy over his body, and vice versa.
Suddenly, Sijna receives a slap to the back of his head as he turns around with an angry gaze!
[What are you doing?]
The chief's favorite hunter asks the rookie, Sijna. Eyes wide, admitting to his mistakes, he bows as a form of apology. Then, his focus shifts on the thudding ground they were running over.
Sijna has a special ability; his sense of hearing is more than extraordinary. He's recently discovered his newfound talent. There was an instance for him when Roxy and him were making love and the chief was walking by. He heard the old man's footsteps, even payong attention to how distinct it was.
What he didn't know, was that he was actually gifted.
What he didn't know...was that one of his parents were not human.
Sijna looks at the hunter, pointing to a direction from where he hears the sound of a prey. A huge prey with mass so big and mighty that each of its footsteps enthralled Sijna's hearing. He wanted to impress with the hunt, yet again.
However...
All boars carrying the humans halt at once.
Sijna, who looks at the black, shadow-like creature in front of him, loses all energy and seems deflated. He prays to God, but oh lord did he pray to the wrong person in charge of life and death.
[Somewhere unknown]
Roxy opens her eyes to the bright light. She looks at the anonymous figures standing in front of her. They are enormous, she couldn't look at them in one gaze. Her head turns from one side to the other, then from the top to bottom. It takes a while for Roxy to realise who she was actually looking at...
A gasp almost rumbles out from her soul!
'Don't...don't tell me...they're the Gods! The Gods of Heaven! Am I really seeing this!?' Roxy could feel all her blood drain out. She felt nothing but pain and tingles all over her body as she breathes ruggedly. She didn't want to believe she is looking at a CURSE!
'Father will kill me if he sees me anywhere near this entity. I need to get out of here. Quickly!' She yells at herself in her head. Roxy makes a meek attempt to hide behind the pillar. But the four entities governing all forms of life have sensed her presence. The all-known looks at her with their eyes closed...
"Bring her to me..." Their pious, neutral voice says through the clouds of mist and unknown. Roxy could feel the emotions of a human. Particularly, the timeline is just as Sijna...where he is experiencing the same emotions on Earth.
Earth....had already passed stone age by this point.
Shaking in fear, Roxy opens her empty fists to summon her weapons from hell. However...
"It is unworthy. Your powers..." The voice from the void speaks. Tears now freely rolling down Roxy's eyes as she screams for mercy.
"Child..." Their calm, pious voice couldn't kindle any harm within anyone. Roxy was forced into a bubble, which she couldn't escape. The entity out of four of them watch her struggle. Roxy summons her greatest weapons from her aresenal. One that belongs to her and just her. None of it could counterbalance the power of this little, thin framed bubble around her.
"We do not harm. Assure yourself, Child." The voice speaks, Roxy turns to listen to it. She shakes her head profusely.
"No. The Devil was once an angel himself.
I know exactly what you all are capable of..." Bitterness flows out of her throat and mouth as she looks at the entity that is growing bigger and bigger. She is approaching the entity which is...as big as planet. She hadn't fathomed nor imagined the sheer size of the Entity.
Until today, until this moment.
"You shall come with us, Child."
"No...NO!" Roxy screams her throat out. Her scream had the power to destroy a whole nation. But in front of the entity, it was heard as a child's desperate cry.
Roxy suddenly felt all energy draining from within her. 'What...is going on with me...?'
Her gaze falls downwards, her whole body falls limp as she sees a thick beam of energy, a dark scarlet...beaming out of her chest. She knew what this meant. She was caught by the creators themselves. They would not allow a creature from the Forbidden realm to taint their realm. And energy...is what governs everyone and everything.
They are taking her energy to fill their own.
'Make it stop...' She demands in her head, unable to speak at this moment.
The Earth is now in 1967, the stone age long passed compared to this realm of existence.
"Stop the Time, Pillar. She has a fate written in her lifetime." Roxy hears the Entity speak. Suddenly, the beam of energy that was pulled out of her is absorbed back within, partially. The rest was stolen anyway.
"You must rest..." Roxy hears almost none of it as her ears are ringing loudly. Slowly, she felt her body being pulled away from the Entity. She sees the Entities as blobs now, slowly diminishing from her sight.
At once, Roxy falls onto the surface like she was dropped down from a height of four feet. The air out of her lungs thump out as she grunts. She feels as weak as a human!
"What the fuck just happened...?" She curses to herself. What was pulled out of her? What was the fate which is entangled with her that she wasn't aware herself!?
Breathing heavily, Roxy feels her senses coming back to her. The whole room around herself is...White.
"What is going on...?" Tears threaten to flow out of her eyes now. Is this the end of the daughter of Satan?
Roxy slipped into a plethora of thoughts, having visions and flashes of everyone she's known. Her father, her step mother and the daughter, The Seven Sins, and finally...Sijna.
What had she done to deserve this fate?
Oh, she is very curious.
Suddenly, a change of colors around her makes her turn to her right. She is sitting on the floor. She couldn't see if it was a floor, because there weren't any shadows. She could feel the hard medium beneath her, however.
Her eyes widen.
Seen from an angle unknown to the human eye, Sijna's mauled body lying lifelessly on the floor was seen. The ordeal...looked familiar to her. As she realizes, Roxy lets an unholy gasp escape out of her chest as her whole world comes crashing down!
"Sijna..." The shock settles in, her chest growing tight with each harsh breath taken. Who dared to kill Sijna with such animosity? Was it The Seven Sins who planned to get back on her for she had ignored their warning?
No...it wasn't the sins. It was a terrible, terrible accident.
Roxy accepted her pain, her knees giving out as she falls. Why was this happening to her?
Any mortal being would accept their fate and succumb to destiny. Roxy would have too.
But what Roxy has surging through her veins is the blood of the Devil. Destiny was never meant to be the final goal for her, Roxy is immortal. Wrath had taken another form, coexisting with time and breaking all rules of hell, heaven and Earth.
That form... is Roxy herself.
Far away, in another realm forbidden from human knowledge, the Entities discuss about the fate they've just read on Roxy's life. There is a chunk of her existence that has gone missing, lost against time.
That had made them curious.
"This Child...she has wrath in her." An Entity, one pillar of the four spoke,
"This Child also has an ill-fate with the one we call...The Devil." Another pillar spoke,
"This Child shall be released back to where she has lost path and stumbled upon us." The other pillar spoke...
"And she shall reunite with the one who is the cause of all chaos..." The last pillar spoke in a crude, deep voice.
The Entities moved to observe her life, watching something mysterious unfold, yet again. Roxy has her whole life entangled into it.
Who is the cause of all chaos? Where will Roxy be sent after facing a sickly amount of time away from home?
"She had died at a similar time as the human she is in love with. So far, these two have been the only two souls to have their fate entangled this way. Two souls, two different beings of existence." The pillar spoke.
How rare could it be?
Well...they are the first and last ever in history to have died at the exact same time, down to the last fraction of a second.
Sijna and Roxy are also the first two souls to ever have their fate entangled in this way. For comparison, they are 2 out of 71,189,347,382,947,489...quadrillion souls across the universe.
