They both quickly went towards a table and got seated.
"Well, we have to go shopping," Ellie said while munching on her snacks.
"Why?" I asked.
"Because we have an exhibition to attend, silly" Ellie said.
"I didn't think you were interested in going," Emmy said.
"But, I am," Ellie said.
"Okay, fine. Come with me to my house after work and we'll go shopping together" Emmy said.

After work, they both went to Emmy's apartment in Ellie's car. i unlocked the door and we both went inside.
"My house is small, are you okay with it?" Emmy asked.
"Shut up, silly. It's pretty comfortable and gives that homey feeling" Ellie said once they entered the house.
"Make yourself comfortable," Emmy said while walking towards the kitchen to get something to drink while leaving Ellie in the living room.
"Emm" Ellie yelled
"What?" Emmy yelled back while holding a tray with the two glasses of juice and went into the living room.
"We are going shopping, Emm. You want to come or not?" Ellie said.
"Yes, let me change first," I said and walked towards my room to change into something. I came back quickly and was wearing blue denim shorts with a tank top on which had written 'Don't fuck with me.
"Cute clothes, sister darling," I said sarcastically.
"Thanks" she replied with sarcasm,
"Come on, Ellie" I waved my fingers in front of the girl who was too busy drooling on Channing Tatum on TV.
"Yeah," Ellie said while standing up.
After 15 minutes, they were at the mall which was near my apartment. They went into a shop and started searching for dresses.
"Emmy, try this one," Ellie said while passing her a turquoise long dress which was plain with long sleeves. She went to try it and came out after 5 minutes.
"Umm, no," Ellie said.
"I don't like it too," I said.
I quickly dressed in my usual clothes and we got out of the shop because we couldn't find any good dresses there. They went inside another shop and started searching for dresses.
"I'm going to try this one," Ellie said while holding out a dress and went inside the trial room. She got after 5 minutes with the dress perfectly hugging her body, showing her curves. It was a navy blue backless dress with two cuts just below her chest with two straps and it was a long dress. Ellie wolf-whistled at her.
"If I were a boy, I would have totally banged you," I said earning a play full smack on her arm from Emmy.
"You look nice," I said and Ellie went inside the trial room and changed into her usual clothes. She paid for the dress and we got out of the shop. We went on searching and searching but couldn't find one. Finally, we entered a shop and started there searching hunt again.
"Try this one, Emmy" Ellie said while holding a black dress. I went inside the trial room and quickly changed into the dress. It was a black dress that ended just above her knees and the sleeves ended till the starting of her upper arm and the ending of her shoulder. The area above the chest was made of sheer fabric.
"You look good, scratch that you look HOT," Ellie said. I liked the dress too so I decided to buy it as it wasn't much expensive and I could afford it. I paid for the dress and got out of the shop. We decided to have dinner at the restaurant which was near the mall.
After an hour and after having dinner, we decided to go back home. Ellie dropped me at my house and then went away to her own apartment.

The next day in the office for me went in a blur, with loads of work and earning some snapping from my boss. God knows why he was this angry all the time. Later that evening, I went home and started getting ready for the exhibition.
After showering, I dried my hair and decided to keep them open and curled it from the end. I applied a little makeup with red lipstick which wasn't too bright, after finishing my hair and makeup I got dressed into the dress I bought that day with Ellie and paired it with the matching earrings.
In the end, I slipped into my red high heels which I already had in my closet. I looked over myself in the mirror and I must say that I looked really beautiful after a very long time. I flattened my hands over my dress, took my clutch and went downstairs.
And then the doorbell rang and I went to open the door.
"Hello, " Ellie said while entering the apartment.
"Hi, you look smoking hot," I said.
"Thanks," Ellie said.
"Sure" Ellie replied.
"Only pretty?" Ellie asked while pouting.
"Hot too," I said while chuckling.
"You look hot too," Ellie said.
"Thanks," I said.
"Come on, let's get going," Ellie said.
"Well, someone is excited," I said, purposely teasing my friend.
"Shut up" Ellie snapped causing me to chuckle.
we reached the hall in about 30 minutes. Entering the hall felt like we were in a movie as there were paparazzi and press everywhere.
"I'm gonna get blind with all these lights coming from those stupid cameras!" Ellie exclaimed.
"Same for me as well," I said and that's when they heard a familiar voice.
"Ladies!" Carson said, appearing in front of them.
"I'm glad you both came," He said grinning and kissing the back of my hand. He was dressed in a navy blue suit which coincidentally matched Ellie's dress colour.
"Hello to you too, Carson," I said smiling while nudging Ellie in her stomach to greet him.
"Hello," Ellie said.
"Hello," Carson said while placing his lips on the back of Ellie's hand which lingered more than a few seconds, causing me to clear my throat and Ellie going to blush.
