Pictures were stuck on the wall, giving my apartment a homey feeling. He got up and walked toward one of the pictures. A ten-year-old version of me was standing, clearly posing for the picture.
I was giving the camera a toothy grin with a medal in my hand. He smiled and took a picture of it on his phone.
Suddenly, my phone beeped, indicating a message. He walked towards my phone and his hand itched to grab it and read the message. You shouldn't, it could be something personal his conscience reminded him but he didn't listen to it.
He picked up my phone and opened the message, thankfully my phone was unlocked.
