"Ugh..."
Theodore groaned as he slowly regained his consciousness. He was currently slumped on a dense bush with fresh blood on the back of his head.
"What the hell is that?!" He grunted.
After recovering his clear vision, he saw a desolate place.
The previously lush trees were nowhere to be seen. In the center was a gigantic bird sprawled on a crater.
Its beak was broken in half, sharp bones protruding on its body, blood, and feathers scattered throughout the ravaged thicket.
It was a bloody mess.
Fortunately, the gigantic bird didn't land directly at Theodore, or else he would have become a meat paste right now.
Theodore also felt lucky that the thick trees were mostly responsible for blocking all gusts from the impact.
If he was out in open instead... Theodore didn't want to imagine it.
"How could a bird this huge be slain anyway? Even a rocket may not kill this bird."
Theodore, who could stand again, immediately went near the crater and saw the giant red bird more clearly.
After taking a closer look, Theodore reeled.
The unmoving gigantic bird was exuding terrifying pressure that stopped Theodore on his track.
It was giving off a feeling of someone superior. It was like what a rat would feel in front of a deadly snake.
Was it really dead?
Theodore doubted himself. What if contrary to its appearance the bird was actually alive?
Lost in his thoughts, his gaze shifted to the ground.
Suddenly, Theodore has a bold idea.
Pock!
A first size rock hit the red bird's head.
10 seconds...
30 seconds...
1 minute...
No reaction...
Theodore was relieved. "Ha, The bird's really dead."
Pock!
However, just to make sure he was right. Theodore threw another rock at the red bird. This time, it was three times larger.
"Phew, seems like it's really dea-"
When he was just about to proceed to throw another rock, the red bird's head twitched.
Theodore saw the tiny movement and was given a fright.
He froze. Still holding a huge rock in both of his hands.
'Is the red bird alive?! But that should be impossible!'
'I threw a rock at it...'
Theodore turned pale as he tried his best not to move. Afraid that his movement may cause the red bird to awaken.
It was at this moment when the red bird's head shone with bright light as its head constantly twitch.
Just as Theodore was about to his back and run for his life, a transparent bead suddenly emerged from the red bird's head and open a bloody hole.
Theodore: !!!
The transparent bead was floating on top of the red bird's head and giving off an intense light brighter than the sun, yet, Theodore's eyes were somehow not affected by it.
He was even mesmerized.
The transparent bead trembled as if it was excited about something.
And then, it shot precisely at Theodore's forehead with unimaginable speed.
Theodore rolled his eyes.
Pain!
It was so painful!
He felt like countless needles were stabbing his head over and over. And to add it up, he couldn't even do anything as he can't move his body.
He was paralyzed!
Theodore felt like he was about to lose his mind.
It continued for an hour before it suddenly stopped. However, it felt like years to Theodore.
The continuously increased intensity almost broke him.
Theodore's body swayed and drop to the ground sluggishly.
Then, a jaw-dropping scene appeared.
Before his body could touch the ground, he suddenly vanished.
It's like he was never there.
It was as if he was a bubble that popped out of nowhere.
...
....
In the midst of nothing but darkness, a single colorless and transparent sphere existed.
The quietness didn't last long.
The sole object in nothingness trembled violently like it couldn't finally hold something.
Thereafter, the trembling climaxed. The transparent sphere broke into pieces and scattered throughout the space of darkness.
It turned quiet again as the scattered pieces of the transparent sphere drifted away and in went their separate direction.
Going fast forward, Millions of years have passed. The scattered pieces of the transparent sphere were inconceivably far from each other.
Throughout time, the transparent pieces have amassed powerful energy. It can no longer accommodate anything. Including its own existence.
Bang!
The scattered pieces of the transparent sphere simultaneously exploded, creating a boundary of powerful energy.
The energy then occupied the darkness as it created an independent time, space, matter, and magic.
Thereafter was the creation of galaxies started.
Billions of stars formed.
While dried energy solidified into dust and gas.
And finally were the planets, celestial objects, and bodies as such, where within was another creation.
Theodore was dazed as he floated through space.
"D-d-did. Did I just witness the creation of the universe?"
Theodore's expression was comical. It continually switched from shock, disbelief, amazement, confusion, and fright.
However, he couldn't be blamed.
After all, Theodore has vaguely witnessed the creations and destructions of life and magic in various galaxies.
He finally understood what the mysterious cold voice meant.
Compared to other galaxies, the Milky Way Galaxy was primeval.
Being deprived of magical energy greatly limited the development of the whole galaxy.
It was like a finless fish without they should have fins.
They could only squirm through the water to survive.
That's why humanity created science instead of magic.
But now that the Milky Way Galaxy was once again exposed from magic...
They need to adapt.
They either become prey or predator. It all depended on their development in magic.
Even a fragile man could become a God with magic.
Theodore fell in deep thought as the simulation finished.
With a blink of an eye, he was back in the park.
"I'm back"
Theodore greeted the now green and prosperous park.
The previous wreckage was nowhere to be seen except the crater where vibrant grasses grew.
Growl
Suddenly, Theodore heard an animal growl.
He checked the location of the sound and sure enough, it was a 'mutated animal' that was bearing its fangs on him.
This time, Theodore didn't reel back in fear. Instead, a confident smile blossomed on his face.
"My path to being the strongest will start with you!"
Theodore announced with extraordinary composure and confidence.
