"I guess you are right about that. But I still couldn't help but worry about that, you know? I mean suddenly getting a letter from the Emperor would always be shocking to me no matter the reason or my position as the Duchess." Anneliese laughed slightly as well before looking at her daughter which made the other two laugh as well, but before someone could speak again, a maid came rushing in towards the room and announced that the Emperor and his family had already arrived.
This news made the three of them instantly stand up in a panic as none of them expected this, especially when all of them expected that the Imperial Family would come just an hour before Dinner Time. But right now it was still just the afternoon and the sun was still very much up and this made them quickly prepare to welcome the Imperial Family. Though everyone was hasty and rushing, Alvitr stayed calm and neutral as she went towards Elisa's room to check up on her as it had only been a few minutes since she left.
"Elisa, baby? Are you all ready? The Imperial Family is here and they are expecting us at the main hall." Alvitr said softly as she knocked on her door before opening it to where she found that Elisa was nowhere inside, but then she heard giggling in her bathroom which put a smile on her face as she quickly went there and found Elisa having fun with the maid as she takes a bath.
"Mommy! Did you come to join me in having a bath?" Elisa laughed slightly as she even made a room for the tub for Alvitr to join in, but she simply shook her head before saying to the maid that she would take over from now to which the maid simply nodded her head as she then bowed before finally leaving.
"Not for now sweety. I already took a bath this morning so I can't join you for now, but don't worry, tomorrow I definitely promise you that I'll take a bath with you." Alvitr smiled softly as she began to help Elisa with her bath.
"Okay, you have two promises to me now, Mommy!" Elisa said with an excited smile as she leaned in towards Alvitr and kissed her cheeks before laughing ever so slightly as she got out of the bath since they were done now. But deep inside she was feeling devastated because that meant that would take less time for her to practice, there was no benefit whatsoever in playing, but being the little girl that she was right now, she needed to act perfectly.
Alvitr was amused at this as she simply lifted Elisa out of the bath before covering her body with a towel they then got out to pick out what clothes she would wear today, of course, she wanted her daughter to look the best, and she didn't even care if she becomes even more beautiful than the princess because in her eyes she already was. She takes good pride in her own beauty and wants her own daughter to be the same, so she takes out a special dress that she designed herself and puts it on her.
As she dressed Elisa, she couldn't help but feel proud and happy at the same time as she watched how her cute and beautiful daughter suddenly had this elegant vibe to her when she wore the dress. The dress was elegant and beautiful as it complimented Elisa's natural beauty and even though she was naturally adorable, the elegant still fitted her perfectly.
The Elegant blue dress matched the color of her deep blue eyes and even compliments her silver hair which she inherited from her Mother, when Elisa looked at her in the mirror when it was finally done, she couldn't help but nod in agreement as she looked extremely beautiful right now. But since it had been so long since she wore a dress, she was uncomfortable especially since the dress was quite heavy as it was not like a modern dress, but she still put up with it as she knew the hard work that Alvitr put on it.
But as she was going to ask how she looked, she realized that there was no need to as she already knew that she was beautiful as it was simply the fact, so instead, she simply asked Alvitr a question that she has been curious for ever since she found out her real background as a Noble part of the Strasser Family.
"Oh yeah, Mommy. I have a question, why is my last name Vicher and not Strasser? I know that my Father doesn't have a last name, so why do I have Vicher instead of Strasser?" Elisa asked innocently as she crawled on top of Alvitr's lap while trying to be careful not to wrinkle her dress, but when Alvitr heard her daughter, she froze slightly before having a light smile on her face.
"Oh yeah… I guess I never really explained that to you, huh? Well… the answer to your question is actually really simple. The moment you were born you are still a Noble even if I'm stripped of my title because that is how it works, but I'm sure you already know that. Though I didn't want to name you Strasser because at first, I planned to simply have a simple life with you… Vicher actually came from my middle name, my Mother's maiden name. The Vicher Family." Alvitr explained with a happy smile on her face and Elisa could feel that her Mother was very close to this Family, even much closer to the Strasser Family.
"As you already saw, my situation with the Strasser Family is not really ideal. But my relationship with my Mother's side of the Family is really good and to some extent, I consider them my real family, that is why I'm closer to my Mother than my Father. Your Great-Grandparents were really good people… but they're no longer here with us…" Alvitr said as she then pointed towards the earrings that Elisa always saw her Mother wear.
"These earrings were actually given by them and I treasured them ever since. Because they remind me of them when they were still alive, but you might be curious how such a Noble Family fell… Well, I think you should learn that yourself, no? I'm sure you will like the challenge since you like reading so much, our library has everything that you need to know about the Vicher Family." Alvitr chuckled as she didn't explain anything about the Vicher family and instead challenged her daughter to see if she could find it within just one week.
But in Elisa's mind, one week was too much time for her as realistically if she really put her mind to it since she hates losing, she'll only need two days at most, or even just one and a half at the fastest.
"Alright, Mom! But if I win and learn everything about it, you need to go out to the city with me and go shopping! It has been a long time since we went out together, we can even invite Grandma and Teacher Adele with us!"
