Crey eased the body of the Jade into a comfortable position on the floor as he winced and looked up to the blue sky without clouds.
There was a scowl on his face as he observed the girl again to confirm that she had really stopped breathing. He tried very hard to not feel pity for her but…
"I guess I was late. She could not hold on to the end. I am…uh, Sorry."
Crey slowly lowered his hand to caress her pale face but ultimately shook his head as he pulled back at the last moment and stood up. He grimaced while walking out, though he was trying to not be bothered about it. But his non-stop mutterings were telling something else.
"Why does she have to…nonsense? Seriously, even the sky is fake. Who even has a last wish like this? She…."
