Ares guided our way through the dark until we made it to a house, it was a huge place and its design would most definitely put mansions in the village to shame. How come I never saw this? I roamed this forest ever since i was a child but not once have a seen this place.
I stared in awe as Ares chuckles at my reaction, Once we got inside Ares gave me a shirt and pants to replace my drenched clothing, I dried myself using the towel that he gave me and i proceeded to put on the clothes that he handed. Before he went away to find something and he told me to find him after I finish changing.
I went out and explore the house to find Ares, and as I was searching for him, I noticed a few portrait hanging in the walls they were beautifully drawn, the artist must have been proud of his work.
While admiring the artwork, I saw a portrait of Ares and a woman they were standing by each other holding up their sword, The woman was beautiful, her features were as perfect as Ares', and her eyes were grey just like mine. They looked perfect together, it reminded me of the Moon and Sun, Ares would represent the Sun while She would be the Moon, Her eyes were like stars. I held up my hand to my eyes feeling insecure 'Mine was a curse, Her's is a blessing' I brushed off my thoughts ignoring my negative comment.
After 10 minutes of exploring the neverending hallway, I finally found him, He was at the balcony leaning over the edge, His hair was shining even in darkness, I called out to him and he slowly turn to meet my gaze, I approached him. I looked around and notice that the forest was full of fireflies, it was a mesmerizing sight, The little insects lit up the dark forest, it looks like a scene that came out of a fairytale.
"Did you have fun exploring?" He asked, and I nodded "It is a very beautiful house".
I was curious about the woman in the portrait, so I asked him "Uh- may i ask who she was?" He looked at me clueless at my question, "-The woman in the painting" I specified, His eyes dilated and his expression became grim. 'Were they on bad terms?' I thought to myself.
"Her name is Athena" He said bluntly, Athena?! The goddess of War, I thought to myself
'No wonder they looked perfect together'.
"She was my Lover" I was silent at his sentence, 'Lover' they were lovers, I felt a Sting at my chest hearing the words came out of his mouth, then I was reminded that I didn't have the right to be jealous.
After our short conversation we went inside and Ares showed me to the room that I will be sleeping, we went inside the room and I saw a large bed, It looked so fluffy and expensive, I looked at Ares in distraught "Can I really sleep here?" I asked hoping that he would just let me go home, "Yes you can" He chuckles at my reaction.
"You cant be alone right now, My Father might be planning something it'd be dangerous if you go back home unprotected" He said, I nodded.
He bid me goodnight before leaving the room, I slowly approached the large bed feeling guilty, I touched the mattress cautiously, It was indeed soft and fluffy, I got up the bed then I lean on the headboard, It was the first time that I felt this comfortable, its like the bed was pulling me in a deep slumber, I hope my mother isn't mad when she realized I was not at home.
I was slowly consumed by my drowsiness feeling myself fall into darkness.

Somewhere above the sky, there was a palace made of gold and jewels, It is where the Gods of Olympus Live, Inside the palace Zeus was watching Astro, He still could not understand why Ares was so infatuated at the poor boy, "I heard that the gods working for Athena cursed that boy at his birth" A man spoke and it got Zeus' Attention, "Are you sure, Hermes" Zeus asked.
"Of course Father, My sources are never wrong" Hermes smiled at Zeus.
"Maybe he reminded him of Athena" Aphrodite suggested, "Well, it would make sense, Since He have the same eyes as our beloved sister" Hermes Agreed and Zeus laughs at their speculation.
"Ooh I have a good a idea" Aphrodite spoke excitedly, Zeus and Hermes looked at her with curiosity.
"Why don't we tell Athena about the boy, She would be Livid when she finds out that Ares is interested in someone, You know how crazy she could get when she's jealous" Aphrodite chuckles mischievously, Both man listened at Aphrodite's Idea, it made Zeus smile widely.
"Hermes" He called at his son excited at the upcoming event.
"Way ahead of you" Hermes answered before leaving to find Athena, The three God's were thrilled on what's going to happened.
"I pray for your soul, boy" Hermes whispers, wishing the Astro his regards.
The clueless boy didn't know that catastrophe was coming his way.
