Marcus could distantly hear his name being called, and could briefly feel hands grabbing him from behind as he slammed punch after punch into Cassian's body.
"The true city? Who the fuck do you think you are to judge others for where they are, for where they come from?" Marcus yelled. "So you've got some fancy name, huh? That hasn't stopped you from being put on the floor by some bastard spawn of a dead whore, has it? You've got a good reputation? How's that reputation going to look when I mount your head on a spike?"
In some way, Marcus was annoyed about his attitude towards Tess and Elciya, but he was mostly angered towards the general attitude of the man.
With a grunt of effort, Tess pulled him off of Cassian. Immediately, a group of the soldiers who had accompanied him surrounded Marcus, pointing long spears at him from behind tall shields.
