The next morning, Marcus awoke in their room.
The room was large. So large, in fact, that it was more like two rooms in one. As Vetin had promised, the room had plenty of access points. There were a couple of hatches in the ceiling, providing access onto the rooftops of the street. Balconies also provided access to the room, both under the condition that they could actually get up there in the first place.
Inside, the room was luxurious. Paintings of landscapes adorned the walls, similar to the ones downstairs. There were two large beds, each covered in a high quality, golden duvet.
With his mind immediately focused on what they were here for, he went to the reception to find Vetin.
Despite the time, he found Vetin sat at the bar, sipping on a steaming drink out of a mug.
"Morning," he said to Marcus as he approached. "Everything okay for you?"
