Moments after the Sergeant's declaration, preparations to go were already underway.
Guards moved throughout the village, bringing supplies and weapons to the gate. Others brought large carriages to the West of the village, designed to transport the supplies.
Bran and the others remained motionless, caught between wanting to help and not wanting to impede on their machine like, rhythmic movement.
As the Sergeant came down off of the wall, Bran excused himself from the others and went over to him, claiming he would find them something to do.
"Sergeant?" Bran asked while approaching.
Leddel looked in his direction as he approached. "You're one of the recruits from the headquarters, aren't you? What is it?"
"Is there anything you need us to do? For the preparations, I mean?" Bran asked. While it was not the main reason for him approaching the Sergeant, he figured that he might as well ask about it.
