The coast in this region could easily be described as a hell.
It was devoid of a touch of humanity, forcibly reclaimed by the brutality and ruthlessness of nature.
Wild beasts, touched by the changing nature of magic, prowled across the desolate land in packs. Birds as big as bears flew through the sky, casting dark shadows onto the ground. Rabid wolves, sporting two heads with fur as thick as reinforced walls and claws as sharp as a blade clashed with tough bears sporting almost impenetrable skin and four arms.
"What happened here?" Tess muttered. "These aren't normal mutations."
"Could they have been referring to all of these creatures in the warning messages?" Elanor thought out loud.
Their speed increased as they travelled closer to the coast. The closer they got, the more creatures they encountered. They were all engaged in vicious combat with one another, like some multi sided war for territory.
