The following morning, I wake up with a diary still in my hands. Brent is already out of bed and dressed. I get up and put the diary on the stack of diaries we have already read through. In fact, we have now read through them all.
I get ready and Brent and I head down to the hotel restaurant for breakfast. When we are seated and our food is already ordered, Brent pours us each a glass of orange juice from the jug on the table and sets my glass in front of me.
"Did you read anything interesting last night before you fell asleep?" Brent asks me in a tired voice. He looks tired also. He didn't sleep well.
