"What makes you think I am going to answer that?" Sheryl repeated the same question back at Jordan, she didn't expect the boy to answer her that way. They were really getting close, and the boy was getting way too cozy with her.
Sheryl would have been happy but at that moment she didn't feel like there was a need to tell the boy that they needed a line, not that Jordan would mind the line anyways. She needed an answer from Jordan, and not only from the two questions but also to other questions she had asked before and all the questions she had in mind.
It was not supposed to be the way it was, Sheryl hated it.
Sheryl looked at Jordan again and knew that even if she was going to hate whatever she was going to say to Jordan, she had to because she needed an answer. And if by any chance, Jordan gets mad at her, she will work on making him like her again.
