Chapter 50 - Qwulvis Anatomy

Zero listened for a moment as he slowly made his way towards the stairs, finding the gun shots had stopped. 'They either died, or they escaped, meaning I'm free either way.' Zero made it to the top of the stairs, passing through the single dense shade at the bottem to find the Qwulvis that had been slapped away was walking towards him, only its eye was completely focused on the soul from the fourth one. 'They are definitely less intelligent then the one from before.' Zero willed the Seeker Beam to shoot out, only this time he willed it to target the limbs. As he had expected, the creature focused in on him once it saw him and shot its tongue out.

Zero side stepped before making the beam target the tongue as well. The creature wailed out in pain as it dropped to its back now completely limbless and tongueless. Zero focused in on his left hand, sticking a single finger out. He focused on the area three inches Infront of his finger. 'Create a constant Death Beam that is controlled.' Zero willed the intended effect to appear, only for a full death beam to roar out of the finger. The wall in the beams way now gone.

Zero sighed before dropping the finger and lifting another one. This time he created a whip before focusing in on it. 'Condense.' The whip suddenly shrank by half, however it was still to big. 'Smaller.' Zero doubled his concentration, getting a head ack in the process. Zero let out a small smile when the whip once more shrank, this time becoming the length of an average human and as thin as three inches. The finger was suddenly getting hotter and hotter and Zero rolled his eyes at the fact that he would have to start over soon.

With a final mental shove, Zero willed the whip to shorten. There was a second delay, before the whip suddenly shrank to around a foot long. Zero was proud of himself before he moved his hand and the foot long whip simply fell straight down. Zero staired at the limp whip with a blank face before canceling the whip entirely. Zero groaned as he dropped the nearly broken finger reaching out and touching the fourth's Shade and looking around. When he found a fast food shop, he quickly made his way towards it.

Without pause Zero jumped the counter of a koala bear express before pushing through the doors that lead into the kitchen. Zero pinched his nose as the smell of rotten food hit him, however he found what he was looking for. There, sitting on the counters were multiple knives. Without pause Zero walked over and picked all of them up before turning and walking back out. Both his hands were full, so he hand to shimmy over the counter without using his hands, which was a bit awkward.

Zero arrived at the writhing Qwulvis and placed each of the knives on the ground next to it. He staired at the creature for a moment before speaking. "It may sound insane... but I think I like you creatures more then humans." The thought was spoken before he could even think, however he knew it was true. "You all react on instinct, and you don't hide the fact that you want to kill us. That makes you ten times better then most, if not all the humans I have encountered until now."

Zero's thoughts were pulled to his grandmother, and how she always sacrificed herself to make his life easier. "All but one." Zero snapped out of his thoughts before focusing back on the creature. "First, lets get your tongue." Zero reached over and grabbed the end of the creatures tongue before pulling and rolling it so it was in a tight roll. He then willed the shop windows to appear, which they instantly did at his command. Without a second thought, Zero pushed the tongue into the second left Window.

Description-A poorly extracted Qwulvis tongue. Due to the method of extraction and time before it was placed in the window, the tongue's quality deteriorated to trash grade.

Price- souls

'Window, set the price to 33,000 souls.'

The window blinked and he once more willed it to move to the other window were it sat next to the poison token. Zero shrugged before looking back at the creature, only to find its movements had become less pronounced. 'It must be nearly dead.' The fact was backed up by the green gooey liquid that was started to spread around its body on the ground. Without pause, Zero reached down and grabbed the sharpest looking knife before speaking to the system. 'Window, were is the Qwulvis heart.'

-Notice-

Information on Creature anatomy is available to be purchased in the shop.

-Notice-

would The Host like to purchase the information Token?

(Yes) (No)

Zero looked up at the soul counter, finding he had 17618 souls after collecting all of the Shades. 'That would mean... The seven creatures had a total of 7,448 souls on them.' Zero was impressed by the number, however he figured he would receive a bunch more as he cleared the floors on his way back to his stash. 'Window, purchase the information.' The souls were taken from his body before the Window with his Token in it appeared. Without pause, Zero reached in and grabbed the Token before instantly willing it to be used.

The token disappeared before Information suddenly flooded his mind. Zero clutched his head as it exploded in pain. Although he was in pain, he was also aware of the information as it was put into his head, so he focused in on that as he tried to bare with the pain. Zero let out a deep breath as the pain finally stopped. In the pains place was now information about the Qwulvis body as a whole. 'The information I received shows were the organs are in relation to the average creatures body, however it doesn't show me anything else, like the veins, or the organs themselves.'

Although the information was more basic then he had thought, Zero had no problem with it as he could simply learn the information through the other dead bodies. Zero looked at the creatures body and quickly found the spot that should be its heart before moving two inches to the left and cutting down into it. The creature started thrashing around for a good second before it suddenly went limp. 'Looks like it finally died.'
