Caroline Edwin was eating her meal.
She began to speak with feigned casualness, "If it weren't for Aunt Freda, I wouldn't even know about this school. Aunt Freda's daughter also studies here, and I have seen her picture before. She's quite a cute girl. How come it seems like I haven't seen her?"
To avoid letting this group of people randomly fool her with someone else, she specifically mentioned that she had seen the photo and recognized the person.
Davy Lloyd's eating paused, "I'll go ask why the child hasn't come for the meal."
He stood up, went over to a man, whispered a few words, and then returned.
"I've sent someone to check the dormitory. It might be that the girl is concerned about her looks and wants to diet, thus not coming to have lunch."
Caroline Edwin smiled and nodded, didn't speak further, and earnestly ate the food on her plate, not wasting even a single grain of rice.
