Caroline Edwin spent the day with Blake Fuller at the hospital, and in the evening, she received a call from her grandmother, Loona Ben, who heard that she had a boyfriend and hoped she could bring him over for a visit.

The black Red Flag car entered the old mansion, where many flowers in the chilly winter courtyard had withered, leaving only a vibrant snow willow and red plum standing out conspicuously among the delicate blooms.
