Caroline Edwin's hospitalization for recuperation spread back home.
Around five o'clock in the afternoon, around the time when the workday was ending, the door to the hospital room was knocked twice long and once short.
Afterward, a father and son duo with outstanding looks entered the room, their hands carrying gifts for the sick.
Upon seeing the two, Caroline, who was lying on the hospital bed listlessly, propped herself up.
"Uncle, little Linn."
It was early winter, and the weather was cold. Linn Daniel was wearing a black jacket and fleece-lined jeans, with hand-knitted gloves on his hands.
His exposed ears were a bit red from the cold, looking especially cute and inviting one to pinch them irresistibly.
"Cousin."
The little mite called out sweetly, putting his gloves back into his pocket and running to the bedside.
He grabbed Caroline's hands and caressed the back of her hands with his warm little hands.
