Marine City.
Daniel Jewelry.
In the office, Nathaniel Daniel sat at his desk, holding last month's performance report in his hand, looking at it seriously.
The secretary standing next to him saw that he hadn't said anything for a long time, keeping her mouth tightly closed and not daring to make a sound, for fear that the already angry Mr. Daniel would vent his anger on her.
"Buzz, buzz, buzz--"
The mobile phone on the table vibrated. Nathaniel Daniel picked it up and answered the call. He didn't know what the person on the other end said, but his already cold face turned even colder at that moment.
"I know."
After hanging up the phone, he put the performance report back into the drawer, picked up the coat on the chair, and adjusted his tie with a gloomy and annoyed expression.
"Claudia, book me the earliest flight to the Capital right now."
Leaving these words, Nathaniel strode out of the office, his expression was unprecedentedly grim.
"Yes."
