After playing two rounds of Happy Match, Caroline Edwin shut off her phone and casually glanced at the box on the floor.
"It's definitely not a tangerine."
Alison Morrison looked completely puzzled: ????
Caroline formed a spell with her right hand and cast it at the box on the ground. In an instant, the true form was revealed, and a wisp of dark energy dissipated into the air. The original tangerines visibly changed shape at an observable speed.
She pointed at the box, "Do you still think they're tangerines?"
"Uhm...—"
Alison's eyes fell on the contents of the box. Her face turned pale and bloodless, a wave of nausea churned in her stomach, and she couldn't help but retch.
Where were the tangerines?
The box was filled with a pile of dead rats, their filthy bodies stained with blood, and they were emanating a disgusting stench.
Tears welled up in Alison's eyes. "How... how could this be? They were clearly tangerines."
"It's just a Camouflage Spell."
