"Tik—"
A slender and well-defined index finger tapped on the keyboard.
With the last character entered, the screen switched to a new page.
Caroline Edwin stood up abruptly, her narrow eyes slightly narrowed and the corners of her eyes exhibiting a hint of laziness.
"Oh? Kicking me out?"
She hooked her lips and raised the tone at the end of her sentence, looking utterly like a prodigal.
Picking up her laptop.
Striding.
With her long, straight legs, she walked directly towards Paul Twain.
Feeling an oppressive atmosphere, his eyelids twitched.
Caroline Edwin came to Paul Twain's desk and placed her laptop on it.
She sat on the table, one foot on the ground, and swiveled the screen towards him with her right hand.
"Sorry, but you don't have the authority to kick me out now."
Paul Twain stared at the screen.
Seeing that Caroline Edwin's name was listed in the Star Universe Entertainment's shareholder column, she held a whopping 20% of the shares!
"Impossible!"
