After breakfast, Nathaniel Daniel wiped his hands clean and looked toward Linn Daniel with a cute expression. "When someone shows such devotion when there is no reason for it, they must be scheming or stealing."
Even though he didn't specify a name, anyone who wasn't foolish would know who he was talking about.
Linn Daniel pursed his lips, not taking these words to heart. They were blatant slander, and he would be the loser if he cared about them.
He looked up, "Dad, it's getting late. Aren't you going to work? Shouldn't a leader lead by example?"
His dad was so unreasonable. He didn't notice any issues when he should have, and now he was doubting Linn's sincere affection for his cousin.
"I pay them so much salary. If they can't work properly when I arrive a little late, what do we need such employees for?"
What kind of mischief is this little brat planning that he's so eager to get rid of him?
