Tidy up the room.
A few minutes later, there was a knock on the door.
Caroline Edwin got up, walked to the door and opened it with one hand. She leaned casually against the doorframe.
Looking at the person at the door, a flicker of surprise flashed in her eyes, but her posture didn't change, remaining playfully arrogant.
She nodded, "Uncle."
Standing at the door, the man wore a custom-made black suit, shiny leather shoes, and even his tie was meticulously tied with no wrinkles.
"Hmm."
Nathaniel Daniel's cold, aloof face softened a bit, and the icy aura surrounding him receded silently.
Seeing little Linn pulled by his collar scowling at her, she casually asked, "Uncle, is there something you need?"
His frosty eyes fell on Linn Daniel, his expression serious, "I heard he hurt you today."
Having been in the workplace for years, he exuded a strong sense of oppression.
He didn't seem angry, but just one sentence was enough to make one's heart tremble involuntarily.
