After breakfast.
Josephine Fuller walked up to Mrs. Fuller and gently tapped her arm.
"Mom, what happened? You seem to be in a particularly good mood today."
"Silly kid, you wouldn't understand."
With a haughty lift of her chin, Mrs. Fuller refrained from any further idle talk, picked up her bag, and left the house with Mr. Fuller.
Josephine, left with a bewildered expression, stood still for a few minutes until Joseph Fuller descended the stairs carrying two school bags and tossed the pink one to her.
He rolled his eyes, "Chubby, what are you spacing out for? It's getting late; aren't you going to school today?"
His words snapped Josephine back to reality, and she put on the pink backpack with a pout, then hurried after him.
The two left one after the other, leaving the vast Fuller mansion with only Blake and Caroline remaining.
They didn't choose to stay at the mansion either, and after getting ready, they put on masks and drove to the Joneses.
