Caroline Edwin returned to her dormitory.
After washing up, she changed into a fluffy pajama, put a herbal pack in the footbath and sighed comfortably while soaking her feet.
Upon drying her feet and slipping on her slippers, she poured out the water and walked to the window, just as the sound of fireworks erupting into the sky began outside.
"Bang——"

"Bang——"
With each sound, the fireworks rapidly burst into the air, colorful and brilliant, illuminating the dark night sky outside.
Caroline quietly watched the night sky, her mind filled with thoughts of her family, who she hadn't seen for a long time, and Blake in his white gown.
She parted her lips gently, "It's been a while..."
She wondered how they were doing in the New Year.
Caroline stood by the window for a while, then turned back, walked to her bed, checked the time on her phone, and then lay down to sleep.
