Chapter 240 - Volume 3 - Chapter 40(Battle on Uninhabited Island(Part 4))

Ever since Primis and his group had landed on this uninhabited island, a pair of crimson eyes had been observing them. Even Primis failed to sense or see the said person even with his Elemental-Sight let alone Sheng Ming or Ais. It was only when Ophis notified him about it did he realized that. That's why he said things were more complicated than he thought.

This person or thing was currently watching Ais's and the Dead Body's confrontation from afar.

???: Hmmm. So, these are the hidden otherworldly people who came to this world before the other three groups came. Never except to see them here on this Uninhabited Island.

The thing then turned and looked in another direction.

???: Unlike the first group that came here before them and are looking for the ruins, these people don't appear to have any such intentions. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm............…. To me it looks more like this group have come for the first group. Not as a friend but as an enemy.

Moving its gaze back to Ais, it continued.

???: This group is more interesting though. Even though currently the strength these people have decreased because of World's Suppression, I can tell that at their full strength, they must be stronger than a Planet-Level(Level 10) being. Let's see what they got.

Ais who was completely unaware of the unknown spectator was currently looking seriously at the Dead-Body that rose to its feet. Then without a second thought, it jumped at Ais. In response, Ais attacked with her azure Lambent-Light again.

SLASH!!!

However, to her surprise, the Dead-Body moved to the side and dodged her attack. Not giving Ais any time to return to herself, the Dead-Body opened its mouth to bite at her. Too bad that Ais was only surprised for a fraction of a second. Hence, it didn't catch her off guard.

She moved a little and raised her leg. Then gave a powerful knee kick to Dead-Body's chin.

POW!!!!

The Dead-Body's mouth got closed and its body raised slightly up. Without stopping, azure Lambent-Light slashed towards the Dead-Body's neck. Yet, just like before, the Dead-Body realized the incoming danger and moved back to dodge. Since it couldn't feel any pain, Ais's knee-kick only closed its mouth.

SLASH!!!

Ais attacked missed again. But this time, she was prepared. When she gave the knee-kick to the Dead-Body's chin and was about to sever its neck, she was also gathering her wind magic in her left-hand. So, the moment her attack missed, she pointed her left hand at the Dead-Body's.

WAIL!!!!!

FWOOSH!!!!

A wind blast was released from her hand and hit the Dead-Body right on its face.

BOOM!!!!!!!!!

CRACK!!!!!!

The sound of wind explosion resounded before the sound of neck breaking was also here. Then the Dead-Body was thrown back again.

SWOOSH!!!!

BANG!!!!!

Hitting the wall again, the Dead-Body was plastered in it.

Lowering her hand, Ais slowly walked towards the Dead-Body. Her hand was still holding the handle of her azure Lambent-Light tightly. She didn't let her guard down even when approaching it. Seeing no movement from the Dead-Body which was plastered in the wall with its head bend at backward direction, Ais decided to sever the neck to make sure it died. But............

Misdreavus: Mis!!! Mis!!!! Mis!!!!!! Mis!!!!!!!

Hearing Misdreavus nonstop shout, she stopped and looked back. There she saw Misdreavus looking at Ais with begging and tear-filled eyes. At first, Ais became confused then realization struck her. She looked at the Dead-Body again before turning back to Misdreavus.

Ais: He is your Tam----Trainer.

Misdreavus: Mis!! Mis!! Mis!!! Mis!! Mis!! Mis!! Mis!! Mis!! Mis!!

Misdreavus nodded her head vigorously in reply. Remaining silent for a second, Ais replied.

Ais: If you are thinking of asking me to spare him then put that thought away.

Misdreavus: ..................…

Ais: Even if your Tam----Trainer was completely fine, we would still be enemies. I would have killed him that time too. Let alone now when he is no longer a living being.

Misdreavus: ..................…

Turning to the Dead-Body again, Ais continued.

Ais: And he WAS your Trainer not IS.

Misdreavus: ..................Mis!! Mis!!! Mis!! Mis!!

THUD!!!!

THUD!!!

THUD!!!

Ais didn't understand Misdreavus words but seeing its current action of again trying to break her Wind cage with determined eyes, Ais can tell that Misdreavus disagreed with Ais's statement and still think of this Dead-Body as its trainer.

FLINCH!!!

Ais kept on looking at the Misdreavus for a minute before she sensed a movement in front. Turning there, she saw the Dead-Body was moving again. Ais didn't seem surprised witnessing this. She already had a feeling that it was not over. That's why she wanted to sever its neck to end it permanently.

Misdreavus: MIS!!! MIS!!! MIS!!! MIS!!! MIS!!!

Misdreavus also saw that and stopped. Its eyes got filled with excitement before she started shouting. Ais didn't say anything and just took a step back. Once she done so, the Dead-Body came out of the wall and stood in front of Ais. The Dead-Boy then grabbed its backwards head and pulled it forward to correct itself.

CRACK!!!

Ais raised one of her brows witnessing this. The Dead-Body started to move that head of his right, left, up, down, and even more directions as if confirming whether it was placed correctly. When it was about to done, Ais looked back at Misdreavus and removed her wind cage.

Misdreavus: .....................

Misdreavus got stunned when the wind cage holding it disappeared. It didn't understand by Ais released it. Still, it didn't think much about it since it was already too excited to witness its Trainer. It directly rushed at its Trainer and dived into its embrace.

Misdreavus: MIS!!! MIS!!! MIS!!! MIS!!! MIS!!!

It started to call its Trainer non-stop in excitement. At this time, the Dead-Body finished confirming its head. It turned to Ais at first before lowering its head and looked at Misdreavus which was hugging its chest.

In the next second, it grabbed Misdreavus head with its remaining hand tightly and raised it in front of its face.

Misdreavus: Mis—rgh!!!!!

A painful voice came out of Misdreavus mouth as the Dead-Body was trying to destroy its head. Misdreavus looked at its Trainer hollow eyes with horror and fear. It could tell that its Trainer was not joking but genuinely trying to kill it. More tears fell from its eyes as it looked at its Trainer with pitiful eyes. Yet, the Dead-Body, which was devoid of any emotions ignored that look and increased the strength of its hold.

DRIP!!!

DRIP!!!

DRIP!!!

...…

...

Injuries started to appear on Misdreavus head as blood fell on the ground. The Dead-Body sniffed the fresh blood of Misdreavus and its hunger instinct took over. It opened its mouth and brought Misdreavus near it. Misdreavus as if had given up all hope closed its eyes.

SLASH!!!!

But before it could eat Misdreavus, the Dead-Body's head fell on the ground.

PLAT!!!!

Next, it released Misdreavus and its headless body also fell.

THUD!!!!

This time, Ais attack was extremely fast for the Dead-Body to even response. Before it could even sense the danger, it died. Misdreavus who had opened its eyes at this time saw this headless body and became silent. Though its tears were flowing nonstop.

Ais: Now you understand why I said it WAS your Trainer.

Misdreavus: .....................

Ais: From what I know Pokémons are more intelligent than dogs, cats, cows, and other animals. And seeing you behaving like this to protect your Trainer, I can tell that your trainer must had taken a great care of you when he was alive.

Misdreavus: .....................

Ais: If that's the case then he wouldn't have hurt you just now. Let alone trying to eat you.

Misdreavus turned to Ais before lowering its head. In truth, Misdreavus long knew its trainer was dead. After all, it saw him dying in front of its own eyes. It still remembered its Trainer last word. He told it to run and hide. Misdreavus could have left this house and hid somewhere else. Yet, it decided to hide here because it was hoping for its trainer to survive and came looking for it. But now reality was in front of it. Truth is always painful and a bitter pill to swallow.

???: Oh yea. So, you are the intruder who came to our house. Looks like there's going be fresh food tonight.
