Calvin's POV
"What is going on here?" A new guy said. Once I turned my head to find out who the voice belonged to I immediately knew that it was the alpha from the Blood Moon pack. "These alphas and betas are protecting a rogue that trespassed into the Dark claw territory." The same guy from before said.
I looked over and saw Liam and Dusty bow their heads in respect to the new alpha that joined this argument. "Alpha of the Blood Moon pack my name is Liam, I'm the beta of the Silver Moon pack. That is my alpha and his mate and my luna. She was invited to this meeting because she is the luna of my pack. Yes she is a lone wolf because this pack treated her poorly and she fled. But she means no harm. She was running and they are trying to take her and who knows what to her."
The alpha's eyes softened and he finally spoke again. "Lily" came out in a whisper. His eyes shifted from blue to black back to blue. Then he said, "I have been looking for her for a couple of years. I thought that she died with my parents. Now for the Dark claw pack. Don't ever touch her or her pack. If you do, I will kill every last one of you." They ran off. The alpha looked at Lily and me and he gestured to me that it's alright.
I shifted back to my human form and picked up Lily and we all walked back to the front of the pack house. "Grab your bags and cars. You're not going to be staying in this pathetic excuse of a pack house. You can stay at my pack house which is about an hour or two away. My sister doesn't deserve to be here. Calvin, if you're alright with it I would like you and Lily to ride with me." He said.
I nodded my head and I heard Damon mention, "I will ride with you guys too. Dusty and Liam can you please go grab our bags and follow us." We got over by the alpha's car and we stopped. "Sorry I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Dominic and to prove that I'm Lily's brother I can show you my mark. Usually siblings' marks look the same." Dominic said while moving his hair from his neck. That's when we saw his true alpha mark and it matched Lily's.
"Lily didn't mention a brother when I first saved her life." Damon said. "She was young when I was sent away to train to be an alpha so she probably doesn't remember me. Now let's get going." We got inside the car and our betas were in the other car ready to follow. We arrived at the Blood Moon pack house and it looked different than the Dark claws pack house.
"I asked my beta to get some rooms ready. I also asked the pack doctor to come check up on Lily." Dominic said. We got out of the cars and there was a man and a lady standing by the front door of the pack house. "Sorry alpha, we only have four rooms available." The guy said, bowing his head. I carried Lily in my arms and said, "That's alright. I will sleep on the floor in Lily's room." The guy looked confused at what I said.
Dominic walked inside the house with the lady following close beside us. "Jace, Please show the other three to their rooms. While the doctor, Calvin, and I take Lily to their room. This is Alpha Damon and Beta Dusty of the Royal blood pack and then Alpha Calvin and Beta Liam of the Silver Moon pack. Then Lily is my sister that we have been looking for. And everyone this is my Beta Jace. If you need anything please let us know and we will gladly help."
With that Dominic and the doctor walked towards a set of stairs and I followed. We got to a bedroom and Dominic walked in and said, "Calvin this will be your bedroom along with Lily. This is Doctor K, she is the best doctor we have in the pack. She will be doing the check up on Lily." I laid Lily down on the bed and immediately the doctor pushed us out of the room. We were in the hallway waiting. That's when my eyes roamed the walls and saw the pictures. "So how was your relationship with your parents?" I couldn't help but ask.
I stopped and looked at a picture with two boys looking about five and a couple and the woman was holding a little baby wrapped in a pink blanket. Dominic must have noticed me looking at the picture because he said, "That picture was taken six months after Lily was born. My twin brother and I were four years old. When we turned five our parents sent us away to different packs to train to be alphas. I guess there were two families that were looking to adopt children to be their next alpha. One was this pack about a couple of hours from the Dark claw and the other ended up being in a different state. My parents were willing to give up their sons because they said that they had Lily and we were too much for them. That's how we got separated and after both my brother and I accepted the alpha rolls, we decided to visit each other. I didn't know that my parents gave the alpha role to the beta and not Lily. We were never told about our parents' death till about a year after it happened. How we found out was when we had an alpha meeting and our parents didn't show up to it, but in their place was Jake."
"So you don't know what your parents put her through and what the pack did to her?" He shook his head no. "I think I would let her tell you" "My twin will be here tomorrow to go to this meeting with us. He wants to know everything about Lily. Hopefully she can go." I didn't know what to say so I just nodded and the bedroom door finally opened.
"She is exhausted, let her rest. Also, Alpha Calvin, why does she have scars from head to toe? Did you know that she was cut with silver and branded?" Doctor K asked. I dropped my head and said, "Some are from your parents and others from the alpha of the Dark Claw pack. That is why she ran away and became an assassin. She just finally let her walls down and found out I'm her mate, but we are not rushing into anything." The doctor K looked shocked, but she didn't say anything and she just bowed her head in respect and left.
Dom looked mad because of what I mentioned about what their parents and her old pack did to her, but he didn't press it any more. He ended up saying "Goodbye." Then he left. I walked inside the room to see my mate sleeping. I found pillows and blankets on the couch and I fell asleep.
