Lily POV
I opened my eyes and I saw Liam laying on the floor trying to sleep. I smiled at him and said, "Come here big guy. You shouldn't be sleeping on the floor." Liam looked up at me and looked hesitant. I gave him a smile and said, "I don't bite." He finally got up and laid down on the bed with me. "Thank you."
"You're welcome. I might be an assassin and a lone wolf, but I'm not a cold hearted monster." He kinda laughed at that. He fell asleep and I stayed up talking with my wolf.
"What do you think about them, Kira?" I asked in my mind. "I feel like we can trust them. I will only let the walls down if you agree with me." She said.
"Well after the alpha calmed down he was not bad. I mean they could have killed me. They didn't need to keep an eye on me. They cannot hurt me anymore than I am. I feel like they understand me like the pack a few years ago. I say let's put our walls down tomorrow and see where that gets us. If either of us can't take it then we will place the walls back up."
"Ok, tomorrow when you wake up I will do that. Get some rest Lily. I love you." Kira said. "Thank you, I love you too, Kira." After that talk I fell asleep. I woke up and looked at the clock and it was six in the morning. Liam was still asleep. I got up and walked to the bathroom and took a shower. I got out and found some clothes to wear. I looked in the mirror at myself and I asked Kira in my mind, "Are you ready?" "Yes, if you are." I took a deep breath and said, "yes" I closed my eyes and when I opened them my appearance changed.
Instead of having Green eyes and long silky black hair, I had my icy blue eyes and my long blonde hair with natural white highlights.
Before I opened the bathroom door I took one last look in the mirror and said, "Show time" I walked out of the bathroom to an empty room. I sat down on a chair next to the window. There was a knock on the door.
"Come in" The door opened and Calvin walked in. "Hey Lily I was..." He stopped and looked at me. We made eye contact and I heard him say under his breath, "Mate." Then he came closer to me. "I'm sorry Calvin, but I don't know what you're talking about." I simply said.
He stopped and looked sad. "Lily, how old are you and what do you know about mates?" he asked. I looked down and said, "About sixteen years old and I know little about mates. My parents were mates." I didn't realize that he came over to me and was hugging me until I felt his breath on my neck. "It's ok, I won't force anything. I have one more question. Why did you put your walls down?" I looked up at him and said, "Kira and I decided that we can trust you and Liam."
