Chapter 18 - Behind the color red

Chapter 18

Running, was the only thing on my mind, I was pulling hard at the chains that were squeezing my hands and kicking the ones that had my legs, when some unknown hands took me by the shoulders trying to hit the surface but without any success. I had been able to free myself from the chains that stopped me, the impulse with which I got up sent the unknown hands away from me, my sight was blurred and inside me there was only anger and despair, I wanted to get out, I wanted freedom "run" resonated within My, so I did that, in a jump I transformed to be on all fours, my sight traveled the place where I was, I did not recognize anything.

My gaze stopped on the girl who was lying on the ground, I was going to approach her but another woman with black hair stood in front of me and that automatically made me furious, even with the grills on my legs I ran towards her without any look, but before something came, it stopped me forcefully in my place, behind the girl with black hair, the one who was my objective looked at me with sadness, anger and something else that I was not able to understand, she was awake and was the I stopped moving further, the shackles on my legs began to burn, so without thinking, I forcefully went out of her control to her surprise, I pushed the girl in front of me doing what will collide with the other on the ground and then leave From there without looking back, I broke the door, finding myself head-on with a corridor through which I instinctively ran, I went out through the corridor on the right, finding another door that could knock down without a problem.  I was already outside the house when in the distance I could hear a scream asking for him to come back, something shot inside me but there was something else that would not let me go back and drove me to keep running into the forest so I did.

Step after step I felt more fury and anger, dodging the trees like a blur one after another feeling that something was wrong but something else was driving him away from me.

I went back to the basement quickly and took Kay by the arm of her making her run next to me.

— No matter how things are, I know where it is going... Well, not exactly but I have an idea and we need Cameron to finally be able to end this and have Dayana back — I said in a hurry while Kay and I we left the house.

— I can't quite understand what you're saying, an ultra-strong and very angry two-meter wolf threw me to the ground more than twice and almost swallowed me

— Inside her I could see small parts of the thing that had her, it was the same energy that was here when we discovered that Aradia had returned. It is the same demon that came to take the girl out!  — Now running because of the rush, since each step of mine was one of hers closer to her — We have to go looking for her now that her trail is fresh — I tried to think with a cold mind and what if I did not do it, someone could go wrong this.

After a few minutes at last I could clearly see the beginning of Dayana's herd, already at the edge of the entrance two young men stopped our step.

— What are they looking for?  They know they're not welcome here — I didn't have time for this, so I got right to the point.

— I'm coming for Cameron, it's about his sister.

— The Alpha does not want to have anything to do with her sister right now — He tried to cut me with a sharp look and his arms crossed.

— Please, this is a matter of life and death.  She has left, escaped and now she is heading towards death itself — I said already in despair because all this was wasted time.

One of them made a sign to the other and as if they were reading their minds he walked away quickly with a nod of the head, not even five minutes passed when I finally saw Cameron walking towards us.

I pushed aside the man who was blocking the road and ran towards her, without giving her time for anything I told her what had happened during all this time, I could see her face go from anger to sadness and from confusion to understanding.

— ¿Do you understand, Cameron?  None of this was her fault, the thing that took your sister was the one that killed your parents and now I need you to help me bring her back because you need her and I need her — I said taking her hand in the latter — She tells you needs to.

— Okay, but you have to let me kill the damn thing — He made a sign to the two men next to him and they ran quickly in different directions and then returned with about 15 more wolves — We are all that was left after that thing She will attack us — She said when she saw my confused face and without more to say she herself transformed into a brown wolf noticeably smaller than her sister under her body at my height so that I could climb and another wolf next to her did the same to Kay still went up, I went up without thinking like Kay — ¿Now what?  — Hearing another voice other than Dayana's in my mind was strange.

— They have to go find her trace as soon as possible, because I don't know what she can do to him once she has it with her

— Everyone listened, let's divide and search — Several pairs of legs began to be heard running around me and I felt Cameron move, even with the wind in my face I could see Kay holding tightly to the wolf that was carrying her.

As I felt Cameron's movement as he ran, I closed my eyes and saw the red lights, which at some point were green grass surrounded by midnight black fur, which looked at me with fury and ignorance.

The tear that I released was carried away by the wind like everything in these last days.
