"I told Alan you were coming with me here," Casey said. She also actually didn't expect that Alan had arrived and heard everything that was said.
Alan walked closer to Erica until he was right in front of her. "Can you say it again?" Alan asked seriously. Erica's face was still red, she turned her face to the side unable to meet the bespectacled man's gaze. "Erica, why are you hiding all this alone ...." Alan took both of Erica's hands and gently stroked the back of her hand.
Casey got up from her seat, she had better go so the two of them could settle things properly. "I better go.."
"E—eh?! No, you don't need—, me too—"
Casey patted Erica on the shoulder, flashing a sweet smile so the navy-haired woman wouldn't worry or feel bad. "I can't wait for your new relationship. So please make the most of this opportunity to talk, okay?"
"Thanks, Gwen," Alan said.
