The next morning, Casey woke up earlier than Eric. She smiled and kissed the man's cheek, who was still sleeping soundly. Casey shuffled out of bed to take a morning shower and walked to the kitchen intending to make breakfast for herself and her lover. She guessed where the kitchen in the house was, until she finally found it.
Casey opened the refrigerator and kitchen cabinets that could be used as groceries. However, not much is available and Casey is forced to prepare breakfast with minimal ingredients. She only made beef-eyed eggs, grilled sausage, coffee, and warm white milk. Maybe because it's not fully inhabited yet, Eric deliberately didn't fill up a lot of food that was sure to expire easily.
