"Laura took so long," Casey muttered. Her eyes couldn't take her eyes off the screen of her phone, occasionally turning her gaze to look for the figure she was waiting for.
"Maybe it won't come because I'm here," said Alan, the bespectacled man, as usual, more interested in the books piled high beside him. Casey glared at the man.
"That's impossible. She must have come."
Alan shrugged nonchalantly.
Now they are in a public library in New York City. Casey managed to invite Alan and Laura to study together, although at first they both rejected it flatly but in the end, Casey was able to melt it. She and Alan accidentally met in front of the building and entered the library together. Meanwhile, Laura hadn't come in twenty minutes and hadn't contacted Casey yet.
"Never mind, you'd better focus. Don't waste your time," said Alan, feeling embarrassed to see Casey, who was constantly nervous and tried to contact Laura many times.
