This is my first time publishing a story online so I'd really love any feedback or suggestions on how to improve my work. :D

Gaming is easy... All I do is click a button and win... I need skilled opponents... The ones that actually make me think.
"WAKE UP!" Shouts my teacher.
Looking around, I'd rub my eyes "Where is everybody?" I'd ask whilst getting up from my desk.
My teacher sighs, "Class dismissed 5 minutes ago... Go home." She'd say while pushing in the sit I forgot to push in. "I'm sorry-" I'd say before being interrupted, "It doesn't matter just go home." She'd say in an annoyed tone.
Leaving the classroom I'd pull out my phone to play a mobile game and think to myself "Welp, That's one way to get yelled at... Let's head to the game store."
* On the way to the game store *
"Why are games so easy...? Why are opponents so dumb...? These idiots couldn't win on their best day." As I kept thinking this over and over, Something caught my eye. Looking over into a store's window, I would see a famous gamer on TV promoting a virtual reality game.
"Why do you like Game On?" The interviewer would ask the known gamer.
"Well firstly it's virtual reality, has skilled opponents, & mindblowing abilities! What else could I ask for?" She would follow up with a smile.
"As if... She's probably just lying to get money..." I'd think to myself, "But... what if she isn't..." I'd then ask myself.
* At the game store *
I'd staredown Game On as if we were two cowboy's having a standoff. "No way the game is as good as she said it was... But what happens if it is...?" I'd keep asking myself.
"YO CAN YOU HURRY THE HELL UP!" Shouted a line behind me.
Looking behind me, "Okay maybe it is that good..." I'd whisper to myself, I'd then grab the game. "Man...This is going to be all of the money I have." I'd whisper to myself.
* At home *
The house is silent, It's as if no other living thing is there... I wouldn't be surprised if I heard crickets.
"Nobody's here... guess it's more time for me to conquer another game I guess." I'd say to myself whilst taking off my school uniform.
Putting on the gear, I'd rest my head on my bed "May mercy be on the other player's side." I'd say before loading into the game.
"May you please pick your class." I'd hear as I load into the game
I guess this is the beginning...
