Just like that, they slowly swam upwards as they mustered all their strength to do it. As they did that, they understood why Matue said that they had to be calm and steady when they swam upwards. They could feel it was much easier to swim downwards than upwards. Plus, they had to do it slowly to not decompress too quickly.
