Chapter 2 - CHAPTER 1 PART II

The lower satiety and cleanliness was, the faster energy levels would decrease. So, for energy levels to be in a normal state, one had to search for as much food and daily necessities as they could to get satiety and cleanliness to maintain above the green safety line.

In almost an instant, Su Han placed "hoarding supplies' at the top of her to-do list.

After reading through everything, Su Han closed the translucent screen.

The system notified, "You have received 100 points from the system. It can be used to purchase supplies in the Shopping Centre."

"Note1: You cannot enter the Shopping Centre when you are inside the instance."

-tofu- instance (dungeon) definition: (online gaming) In massively multiplayer online games an instance of a given dungeon generated exclusively for a specific player or party of players; contrast to the overworld, shared by all players on the server.

"Note2: There are limited supplies in the Shopping Centre, it operates on a first come first serve basis. After all units of a product is sold, there will be a 'sold out' sign on it. You may continue purchasing it when it gets restocked. (Restocking will happen prior to next instance)"

Su Han: !!!

The products in the Shopping Centre can sell out too? Then wouldn't the players who were carefully choosing their occupations and earnestly analysing the attributes just now be down on their luck!

She immediately opened the Shopping Centre and started sweeping the shelves.

The Shopping Centre page appeared, and the wideness of the variety in it was enough to make one gasp. There were things to eat, to wear, to use, as well as knives, twin knives, daggers, as well as all sorts of controlled objects, no wonder it was opened by the system.

Holding her 100 points in her hand, Su Han felt that this bit of money simply wasn't enough to spend at all!

However, seeing the number of supplies continuously decrease, Su Yan sighed. She quickly secured her goal and instantly spent all of her 100 points.

The articles she bought were…

Personal storage space, costed 50 points and had 10 spaces. In every space, one could at most store 100 of the same object.

A super value big gift bag, costed 40 points and had 10 bars of soap, 10 bottles of mineral water, 10 pieces of buttered meat floss bun, and five medical bandages.

Soap: After using it, cleanliness +25, costs 2 points.

Mineral water: 250ml, after using it, satiety +10, costs 2 points.

Medical bandage: after using it, energy +10, 'bleeding' state disappears, costs 2 points.

In other words, what was originally 80 points worth of supplies turned into a gift bag that costed 40 points, that truly was worthwhile! That's why Su Han did not hesitate at all to buy it.

The remaining 10 points were changed into instance currency. In total, it was changed into 1000 bay. (The universal currency in instances are called bay)

On the surface, having lots of money seemed to make it extremely easy to buy food, medical supplies. Spending points didn't seem to be worth it. but…. Who could ensure that the instance would be during peaceful times, and those products could be purchased?

Taking a step back, even if they could be purchased, who knew what kind of currency bay was? And much purchasing power it had? If 1000 bay could only get her a bottle of mineral water, then she would be taking a huge loss.

Thus, after thinking about the decision from all angles, Su Han decided on the three choices above. Even though she wasn't 100% prepared and there were still lots of things not yet equipped, however the supplies she brought with her should be enough to deal with the majority of situations.

After spending all 100 points, Su Han saw the current number of Personal Storage Spaces available, 72200, drop by over 7000. Her heart squeezed, knowing that the majority of players were turning on their store sweeping mode.

Good thing she's already done making her purchases.

The system asked, "Preparations are complete. Would you like to go into the game right now?"

Su Han didn't hesitate with her reply. "Yes."

After a white light flashed past, Su Han officially entered the game.

The system started making introductions. "This is an instance with the background of pernicious goods inflation. Dear player, please try your best to survive."

"Note1: After surviving for 10 days, players will have fulfilled the requirements needed to pass the instance and may request to leave the instance at any time."

"Note2: When your energy turns to zero, the character dies and you lose the qualification to participate."

"Note3: The more days survived, the better the reward for passing."

"Note4: If you complete the extreme challenge— survive 20 days in the instance, you will receive an extra award. 20 days later, all surviving players in the instance will be automatically transferred out."

"Note5: Town A5 (the server you are in) has a total of 100 000 players and 200 000 local NPC."

"Note6: From 9am onwards, pernicious goods inflation will officially begin. (usually, it is counted as pernicious goods inflation when the price of products increase by over 50% in one month. The game data has been slightly adjusted.)"

After 9am, pernicious goods inflation begins? Su Han paused.

Entering the game at 8am, choosing an occupation, reading the information, choosing what supplies to buy in the Shopping Centre, the total time she took was about 5 minutes. While current time just so happened to be 8:06am.

Suddenly, for some reason, she felt a sense of urgency, as if not a single second could be wasted!
