Five days passed. After careful consideration, Senyo finally sold the house we currently live in for 2M. The money was used to buy a smaller house, a new car and hospital bills for both of us. Senyo and I have been out since yesterday. Our condition is quite reassuring that everything is fine.
The remaining money I used to buy a glass stelling and cooking ingredients. As our livelihood, I plan to sell fried rice every morning until noon. I can't deny that I want a stall that sells a lot of food menus. Unfortunately, we don't have enough money for that. Not to mention Clarin's many needs. If not fulfilled, then she will sulk at Senyo.
This morning I have finished arranging my wares in front of the house. Hopefully everything is selling well and sold out. This is all I can do for our little family. Senyo decided to stop working for the super market Mr. Johan, because the man did not want his own son to meet him.
When I was sitting waiting for customers, suddenly Clarin came over. She was neatly dressed in her office uniform.
"Nara, what is this?" she asked.
"What do you mean, madam?"
"Why did you put your things in front of our house?" Her eyebrows knit together. Clarin looked around.
"Madam, you already know that I want to sell fried rice,"
"Yeah, but why do you have to be here?"
Looks like Clarin blamed the tent that I built right in the yard of the house.
"Where did it go wrong, madam? Right, this is our own house," I replied answering her silly question.
"Hey! Do you think a low-rise house like this could be more beautiful if a tent was set up in front of it? Look, Nara! This building is like the property of the poor,"
"Aren't we already poor?" I said in my heart.
"I don't think there's any harm, madam,"
Two high school students walked towards the tent. They sat down immediately without being invited.
"Wow, there's a buyer," I said.
"What do you want sisters?" I'm happy to serve both.
However…
"Huh, don't eat here! Go on and on."
Instantly Clarin grabbed the arms of the high school students and pushed their shoulders. Those who become victims are suddenly confused and don't like it.
"If you don't intend to sell, don't open a shop!" said one of them.
I looked at Clarin furiously. I want to scratch her face. How dare she decide someone's sustenance. Though the money I receive will be a source of income for all of us in this house.
"Madam, why were you kicked out?" My eyes bulged. Powerless by Clarin's reckless actions.
"I told you don't to sell here. You're an eyesore for the house, Nara."
"Just because of that?"
"Huh, you dare to go against me?" Clarin on her hips.
"What's all this fuss about?"
Hearing a squabble outside, made Senyo walk over to the two of us. He was still wearing boxer shorts without clothes. Makes my eyes light up in the morning. I hastily averted my eyes so as not to stare at the sixpack body.
"I don't like Nara selling here," said Clarin. His lips rose three centimeters.
"Why, dear? The income is for our food too,"
"This ugly house will become even more dilapidated if a tent is set up in front of it,"
Senyo grabbed Clarin's body and hugged her. Wrapped the woman's head with both hands. Senyo did not hesitate to do it in front of me as his first wife.
"Unfortunately, we will spend more if we rent a place out there. Currently our economy is in crisis. You know father has given up, right?" said Senyo trying to calm her heart.
"You're defending Nara?"
"No, but we have to understand the current situation. If the money is used to rent a place, then what about your maintenance?"
Clarin let go of Senyo's embrace and walked away from him. She opened the rice pot and threw the lid on the ground.
"Good grief, why was it thrown away Madam?" Quickly I picked up the cone-shaped object.
Clarin looked at me hatefully. Worse yet, now she's overthrowing all the plastic chairs and tables here. I'm in shock not playing. Especially when you see someone who was originally about to stop, now runs away first. Maybe she was afraid to see Clarin raging without control.
Brugh!!!
The sound of several items colliding.
"Clarin, enough! Why did you destroy everything?" Senyo tied Clarin to her body. While the woman was struggling to be released.
"Let it be! All of you really make my blood pressure rise," she complained with a snarl. Her legs were shaking violently.
I don't know what's going through Clarin's mind right now. That's a funny reason. Is she still thinking about her prestige in the midst of this strange situation? Sometimes I like to be annoyed with Senyo. As a man, she should be able to take a firm stand on his wife's indecent treatment. Instead of falling for it and always following Clarin's will. Senyo seemed to be under the armpit of his own wife.
"I beg you, madam. Let me sell here. After getting enough profit, I promise to move and look for another stall," I said, cupping my hands.
"Senyo, if you don't do what I want, I'd better run away from this house." A threat escaped from Clarin's lips.
Senyo let go of his tight hug. Holding Clarin's shoulder and looking at the woman's eyes deeply.
"Don't act recklessly. I could die losing you," said Senyo softly. A row of letters that he never gave to me as his first wife.
"So move right now!"
"Well. I'll ask Nara to move right now."
Once again Senyo was made obedient by Clarin. I'm speechless if Senyo has already made up his mind.
"Everything should be in order when I get home from work later," said Clarin. Slowly she walked away.
"Honey, let me walk you." Senyo shouted.
"No need! Just take care of Nara's merchandise. How can a stupid woman like her manage everything." Clarin replied with the same loud scream.
Senyo looked at the stall that was already in chaos. Rubbing his hair as he chuckled. I could feel how dizzying Clarin's temperament was. On the other hand, he couldn't put up a fight because he loved her so much.
"Nara, I will give you money and please find a new stall to sell,"
Senyo immediately walked into the house without waiting for a response from me. A few moments later, he came back out and handed over an envelope.
"Go!" he exclaimed.
I looked at the brownish yellow object.
"Me alone, sir?"
"Don't be spoiled, Nara!"
Senyo indirectly asked me to take care of it by myself. Senyo doesn't love me. Therefore, he doesn't care what happens to me. What Senyo wants is how I can get a new sales booth in a short time.
"Excuse me sir,"
I left the ravaged shop with Senyo. I remembered what Clarin said. He must be mad that I can't move when he gets home this afternoon.
I rode an ojek to the Bengkel market. The Workshop Market is a food paradise. Hopefully I can find an empty spot there. If you can get good results too, because here so many visitors. Especially on weekends.
I got off the motorbike after handing a few rupiahs to the driver. I searched stall after stall in the Bengkel Market. When I was focused on walking, suddenly my body was hit by a tall man. He looked at me and furrowed his brows. There was an exchange of glances between us for a few seconds.
"You… I think I know you," said the man with a thin mustache.
I looked at the beautiful face in front of me. To be honest, I'm also no stranger to those jet black beads.
Who's he?
