Chapter 4 - Hungry!?

Kind's Pov

As Mr Limbu and Kind proceeded to approach the classroom, the sound of footsteps could be heard in the corridor. Mr Limbu and Kind entered the classroom together.

"Good morning, sir," The kids all said something at the same time as they stood for the class stand to show their appreciation for the instructor.

"Good morning, kids," Mr Limbu remarked as he approached the whiteboard's front.

Mr Limbu's lead was not followed by Kind. He continued to stand at the classroom's front right corner.

Everyone was gazing at Kind with puzzled expressions on their faces. Kind was well aware of their concerns.

"Students, He is Kind. Mr Limbu presented Kind to the entire class, saying, "He is going to study in our class starting today."

"Hello everyone, please take good care of me," Kind remarked politely as he bowed his back forward.

.

Everyone grinned, and Kind had a glimmer of hope that he would make it through this class.

Mr Limbu gestured to the empty desk next to Win and said, "Kind go and seat on the desk next to Win."

Kind examines the individual before walking over to the desk and taking a seat next to him.

"Hello, I'm Win Smashing," Win remarked with a delighted expression on his face as soon as Kind took a seat.

"Hello," Kind said with a smile after tearing open the book on the topic that the teacher, Mr Limbu, had taught.

Win had blue hair and a serious expression on his face. He wore spectacles, indicating that he was short-sighted. He was a brown-skinned man with braces, which Kind picked up on when Win spoke.

Win snatched the book from Kind's grip and flipped the page to the lesson in progress. After flipping the page, Win returned the book to Kind.

"Thank you," says the speaker. Kind thanked Win; after all, he hadn't expected this from Win.

"Don't bring it up; there's no place in friendship for apologies and thank yous," Win told him as he turned his attention back to the lesson.

[Really, friends] Kind remembered that it took him two years to establish friends at his former school. He was overjoyed to have made a new buddy here.

Win closed his book and turned his body towards the direction of Kind when Mr Limbu's lesson concluded since there was some opportunity to strike up a conversation with a new student.

"Do you have Instagram?" Win inquired as he took out his phone.

"Are pupils allowed to carry their smartphones?" Kind exclaimed, surprised!

"Wasn't that something your former school allowed you to do?" With a shocked expression on his face, Win stated that taking smartphones to school is a typical occurrence in Damak. However, most schools outside of Damak prohibit pupils from bringing smartphones to class. They only allow high school pupils to bring their belongings.

Kind remarked to Win, "Umm."

"Forget about your former school's regulations." You've come to learn the norms and regulations of this institution. Give me your Instagram ID now." Win remarked with a smile on his face.

"I don't have an Instagram account" Kind was sincere in his response to Win.

"Facebook," Win inquired once again.

"I don't have it either," he says.

"Discord"

"No"

"Email"

"No"

"No problem," Win said, "then give me your Whatsapp number," because everyone has a Whatsapp account.

"Neither of them," Kind said.

"Agh, Kind, agh, agh, agh Why aren't you on social media? You should have a phone number of your own. "Personal numbers are required in our school!" Win said with a sigh of dissatisfaction.

"Why do they need our contact information when they could just ask our parents?" Kind expressed his displeasure with the situation.

"Umm, they require our contact number to keep their track device on us," Win said, based on what he'd learned from other sources.

"What?" Kind didn't get it.

"They grab your phone number and store it on a GPS tracker so that pupils can't leave the school grounds without permission from the teacher." Win mentioned the facts that he learned from his classmates.

"Ooo," Kind exclaimed.

"Do you need my notes?" Kind nods as Win offers him his notebook, explaining that he had just started this school and that it would be difficult for him to acclimate here, and that these notes would be of great assistance to him.

Kind murmured, "Thank you," as he removed the notepad from Win's grip.

"Don't bring it up," Win advised.

"Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr" Kind throws his arms across his stomach and turns away in humiliation as a growling sound comes from his stomach.

"You're starving." According to Win,

"I didn't have breakfast today," he says. Kind expressed the truth.

"Wait, what? This morning you didn't have breakfast!" With an astonished expression on his face, Win

Kind provides a -yes- head nod.

Kind rose up with a puzzled expression on his face as Win stood up and pulled him with his hand on his parm.

"All right, let's go," Win said.

"Where"

"To the canteen," Win murmured as he dragged Kind away.

"But, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, Isn't the instructor going to be upset with us?" Kindly stated

"Teacher won't be furious, and we're permitted to eat," Win stated as he drew Kind closer to him and took him on another walk. "Why are we allowed to eat at any time?" While strolling with Win, I was a little astonished.

"Because Principle Sir believes that hungry students cannot concentrate on their studies and that kids require a lot of energy to study, he has provided certain allowances for toppers." Win said what he was aware of.

"Oooo," Kind exclaimed.

"How come you didn't have breakfast this morning?" Win's mind was suddenly filled with a question, which he asked.

"I was enraged," Kind said as he shifted his eyes.

"Oh, because you were enraged. You should not let your sentiments ruin your health and food," Win said.

"Okayyy" With a smile, Kind responded.

[I'm a new student to him, but he cares about me.] Lord Ganesha, thank you.] In the back of his mind, Kind praised God.
