Chapter 113 - Court House

The celestial convoy approached the Court of Heavenly Justice, a majestic structure that exuded the grandeur of a supreme government institution.

Its walls were clad in gleaming marble, adorned with intricate carvings and gilded accents that shimmered in the light, casting a warm glow over the surroundings.

The courthouse's facade was a masterclass in neoclassical architecture, with soaring columns and arched windows that seemed to stretch up to the heavens, giving the impression of a divine sanctuary.

Asmo, bound by celestial restraints that glimmered with an otherworldly light, and the weakened spirit of Belzebub, flanked by Archangels Uriel and Gabriel, arrived at the grand entrance.

The massive doors, emblazoned with the symbol of the Divine in gleaming gold, swung open with a soft creak, revealing a spacious foyer that seemed to hum with an otherworldly energy.

As they proceeded through the foyer, the procession passed beneath a stunning crystal chandelier that refracted light into a kaleidoscope of colors, casting a dazzling display of hues across the floor.

The air was thick with anticipation, heavy with the weight of the impending trial. The scent of ambrosia wafted through the air, its sweet fragrance filling the space with an ethereal aroma.

The procession continued, their footsteps echoing off the marble floors as they made their way deeper into the courthouse. The atmosphere was tense, the very fabric of reality seeming to vibrate with the weight of the trial to come.

Asmo's heart raced with anticipation, his mind focused on the task ahead. He was the sole legal representative for the Archdemons, and he knew that their fate in the cosmos hung in the balance.

As they approached the detaining room, the doors slid open with a soft hiss, revealing a chamber filled with an array of divine containment vessels.

Belzebub's spirit was gently coaxed into a glowing, astral cell that pulsed with a soft, blue light, where he joined the other Archdemons, their essences suspended in a state of mystical stasis.

Lucifer, however, was locked in a high-tech physical cell, his physical body still intact, his eyes fixed on Asmo with a piercing gaze.

Asmo's cuffs were removed, and he was led into the grand courtroom. The courtroom was a majestic chamber filled with an otherworldly light, the air thick with the weight of the impending trial.

The atmosphere was solemn, the very air seeming to vibrate with the importance of the moment. Archangel Michael, the judge, stood tall and imposing at the bench, his eyes fixed on the proceedings with solemn intensity. His face was a mask of impartiality, his gaze piercing as he surveyed the courtroom.

Archangels Ariel, Jophiel, and Chamuel observed from their seats, their faces aglow with an otherworldly light. Their eyes shone with a deep wisdom, their presence seeming to radiate an aura of peace and tranquility.

The jury of Transcendants, wise and ancient beings, sat in a semicircle around the courtroom, their faces aglow with an otherworldly light.

Their eyes seemed to see right through to the soul, their gaze piercing as they surveyed the courtroom.

"Listen, Asmo, we can offer you a comfortable place to stay outside the courthouse," Archangel Gabriel said, his voice firm but laced with a hint of concern. "You don't have to stay in this...cell."

Asmo's gaze remained fixed on the Archangel, his jaw set in determination. "I appreciate the offer, Gabriel, but I'm not leaving my brothers. We've been through too much together. I need to be with them, to support them."

Gabriel's expression turned skeptical. "You're not thinking clearly, Asmo. You're not a prisoner, you chose to be here. You don't need to be in a cell."

Asmo's eyes narrowed. "I'm not just a spector, Gabriel. I'm an Archdemon, and I won't abandon my brothers in their time of need. Let me in."

Gabriel sighed, his shoulders sagging slightly. "Fine. But don't say I didn't warn you."

"Thanks, Gabriel," Asmo said, his voice firm. "I owe you one."

Gabriel's expression was grim. "You don't owe me anything, Asmo. Just be careful in there."

The Transcendants who served as guards exchanged skeptical glances, their eyes narrowing slightly as they led Asmo to the detention room.

"Asmo, you can't be serious," one of them said, their tone laced with disbelief. "You were offered comfortable accommodations outside the courthouse, but you'd rather stay in a...cell?"

Asmo's gaze never wavered. "I'm dead serious," he replied, his jaw set in determination. "I won't abandon my brothers, not now, not ever."

The guards shrugged, their expressions a mix of curiosity and annoyance. "Suit yourself," one of them said, gesturing to the cell. "You can join Lucifer in his cell."

As the heavy metal doors slid open, Asmo stepped inside, the sound of clanging metal echoing through the cell. The dim lighting cast eerie shadows on the walls, but Asmo's gaze remained fixed on Lucifer, his eyes locking onto his brother's piercing gaze.

Lucifer's expression was grim, his eyes clouding over like a stormy sky. But as Asmo approached, a flicker of surprise crossed his face, followed by no form of positive acknowledgment.

"Welcome to our humble abode," Lucifer said, his voice laced with sarcasm. "Make yourself at home."

As soon as they were alone, Asmo broke the silence, his voice low and even. "Hey, guys. How's everyone holding up?"

Lucifer's response was curt, his tone laced with skepticism. "What do you think you're doing, Asmo? You think you can just waltz in here and pretend like nothing's changed?"

Asmo's eyes narrowed slightly, but before he could respond, Belzebub's weak voice cut in, his words laced with conviction. "Lucifer, stop. Asmo's with us now."

He's still loyal to our brotherhood." Lucifer's gaze never wavered, but his tone softened slightly, a hint of understanding creeping into his voice. "Fine. But explain yourself, Asmo. Why are you really here?"

Asmo took a deep breath, his words pouring out in a rush, his determination evident in his tone. "I couldn't just abandon you guys. We've been through too much together.

And I know I messed up, but I'm trying to make it right." Belzebub's voice grew stronger, his words laced with conviction. "They know you are, Asmo.Lucifer,he got even me, to finally put my trust in him."

The tension in the cell began to dissipate, their conversation flowing more naturally, the familiar rhythm of their banter returning.

Asmo's eyes roamed the cell, taking in the familiar faces of his Archdemon brothers, their faces etched with concern and uncertainty. "So, where's Lutan? I haven't seen him since we got here."

Lucifer's expression turned grim, his eyes clouding over like a stormy sky. "We don't know," he replied, his tone laced with frustration.

"But I'm sure his cell is the most heavily guarded in the building. Satan was already the most dangerous Archdemon before I gave him my power to make him Lutan." Lucifer's voice trailed off, his words hanging in the air like a challenge.

Asmo's mind raced, his thoughts whirling with the implications. Lutan, the powerful and feared Archdemon's cell was now a mystery, his whereabouts were totally unknown.

The uncertainty sent a shiver down Asmo's spine, but he was determined to find out, to uncover the truth and prove his loyalty once and for all.

His eyes locked onto Lucifer's, a fierce determination burning in his gaze. "I'll find out," he vowed, his voice firm.

"I'll also uncover the real reason why you were all capture.Am going find out one way or the another,no matter what it takes."
