After working out in the training room, I took a shower and went back to my room.
It's primitive, but there's even a shower that uses groundwater, and there's nothing more perfect than that.
I have no complaints about the bed either. It is not the needlessly soft and sinking thing that aristocrats like, but a moderate firmness and ergonomics. It's easy to get rid of fatigue with things.
I don't want to lose this environment.
Before falling asleep, I think about today's training.
First of all, I managed to develop a new special move. It's a technique that uses a magic bag that increases in capacity the more magic is poured into it.
This is a powerful weapon. There's still room for improvement, but I'm glad it's taking shape.
Next, I look back on my two pupils.
Finally, though, Dia is getting some basic strength. It was only because she had originally been taught how to use the sword that she was able to develop a foundation in such a short period of time.
With this, she can enter advance level.
Even though Dia fights primarily by magic, knowing how to move her body and having the ability to defend herself is a big advantage.
It's safe to say that Dia's training is going well.
The one with problem is Talt.
".... As I feared, her eyes aren't keeping up with the speed, after all" (Lugh)
Talt is able to perform super-fast combat due to Tuathe Dé's physical modifications, physical enhancements due to her superior magical power, and even acceleration due to her own attribute, wind.
But her eyes haven't been able to keep up with the speed of it.
If the opponent is only top-notch, it won't be a problem, but if it's me or my father's level, they can easily be countered and that speed can be fatal with a single blow.
There are ways to improve it.
The first is to train herself to only produce speeds she can control. That would be realistic, but it would kill the biggest advantage.
Secondly, like me, I can give her the eye of Tuathe Dé.
With those eyes, she could have super kinetic vision
I've already inherited the method of treatment from my father. The surgery itself is possible, and it needs to be practiced on someone else before it's done on my child, who will be born anyway.
I can say its godsend.
.....But if it fails, Talt will be blinded.
At the very least, I'd like to have a test subject. Of course, I've done this many times with sinners, but it's a procedure that almost always fails if a person doesn't have magical powers. This is just training to learn the process.
If I'm going to be perfect, I'd like to perform the treatment against a magician and make sure it's successful before I do it on Talt.
It would be nice if there was an experimental body somewhere that had magic power and could be used at will, but there would be no such thing lying around conveniently.
"Next time an assassination attempt is made, shall I secure the target?" (Lugh)
Let's try to treat the target as missing.
First of all, I'm going to review it and use it as an experiment.
That's best way to do.
The problem is that I don't get a chance to assassinate people that often while I'm at Academy.
My father would run his own assassination business unless there was a lot of work to be done.
If they were to ask me to do something, it would be an assassination that even my father would find difficult to accomplish.
If possible, I don't want to take on such a super-difficult request... no, there's a possible other request. If there is a target in this school, my father will try to use me.

The sound of bells echoes throughout the dormitory.
It's a wake-up call.
I changed into my uniform and left the room and headed to the living room.
I see how I look like on mirror.
The uniform is black with blue lines on a black base.
And the armbands are adorned with gold. This is a sign of an S class. Just by looking at the armband, you can tell which class you're in at the school, and you'll be able to enjoy various privileges at the school's facilities.
It feels like overkill, but that's the kind of policy this academy has.
"Good morning, Lugh-sama" (Talt)
"Good morning, Talt. Those uniforms are cute and look great on you" (Lugh)
"This is a pretty good fit. It's easy to move around and even I like it a lot" (Talt)
Talt's skirt fluttered as she spun around. It seems to be invisible. .... no, not that I'd want to see it.
Talt's clothes are a cross between a uniform and a maid's uniform.
The students in the servant's section have a different uniform design to show for it.
"I should have in that one too. It's much prettier that way" (Dia)
Dia came over, rubbing her eyes sleepily.
Compared to the Talt's uniform, it's a slim and sleek silhouette, and it's clean and crisp.
"Really? I'm pretty sure that's the one that looks good on Dia-sama" (Talt)
"I agree with you. Beautiful clothes look better on Dia than pretty clothes" (Lugh)
"..... it makes me embarrassed to hear you say that. But I'm kind of glad. I'm glad both me and Talt have uniforms that fit each other" (Dia)
Indeed. Just as beautiful clothes look good on Dia, cute clothes look good on Talt.
It's eye-opening to see two people like this every day.
"Both of you, you have to check to make sure you haven't forgotten anything. The first day is important" (Lugh)
"I wouldn't be that stupid" (Dia)
"I checked it several times yesterday, so it's fine... All right, breakfast is ready" (Talt)
Talt arranges the plates in the living room.
The menu is corn soup. Then lettuce on freshly baked bread and half-crusted scrambled eggs on top. This is served with the Talt's special tomato sauce.
It's simple, but it's quite good.
"What's up with these ingredients?" (Lugh)
"Last night, I got asked whether I wanted to use the cafeteria for breakfast, or if I wanted to use the dining room. So, when I said ingredients, it arrived this morning" (Talt)
"So that was it, good decision. It's a relief to eat a familiar Talt's meal. I'm grateful that I've been so uptight since yesterday" (Lugh)
"I want to take it easy with the three of us in the morning. This is better than the cafeteria" (Dia)
And so, the morning passes in a leisurely fashion.
After meal, we enjoyed the rest of the cake that Talt had baked yesterday in celebration and tea, and the exhaustion of yesterday was gone.

As I was leaving the dormitory, Neush came running up to me.
"All three of you, since you're here, why don't we go to class together?" (Neush)
"I don't have a problem with that" (Lugh)
"Haha, as expected of me, I'm not comfortable being alone either. I've had a bad morning" (Neush)
"Morning?" (Lugh)
"Oh yeah, I tried to get my breakfast in the cafeteria. The seat I sat in was like a reserved seat for a senior student, which is a big deal. Because of this is my first day, they gave me a special dispensation, though" (Neush)
This dormitory is for S-class students only.
That includes seniors, and these things can happen.
"It's a troublesome vertical society. There's a lot of other stuff going on, and you might want to be careful" (Lugh)
"Well. Appropriately enough, I'll try to pull some information out of some of the older guys who might be able to take it in" (Neush)
Neush says and laughs.
He has brought his servants with him, too. Still, the reason he dared to use the cafeteria was probably to make connections.
Maybe the senior's reserved seat was also a dare to impress himself.
"Do everything in moderation" (Lugh)
".....Heh, you know what I mean. Yes, a word of advice from a very good friend. Let's be careful" (Neush)
After about three minutes of walking, we arrived at the class building and reached our classroom.
The four of us with the gold armbands were noticeable and attention-grabbing anyway as we walked, and were flabbergasted.
I got there ten minutes before the start of class and the entire S class was already there.
There are three people here that I need to pay special attention to.
Neush Geffis, heir of the Duke of Geffis.
Finn McCool, the second son of the Earl of McCool, a distinguished knightly and battle-focused noble family.
Epona Rhiannon, the hero.
Others are excellent, but not to the point of needing attention.
It's better not to antagonize Neush and Finn.
They have a high family background, but most importantly, they're good at what they do.
In pure swordsmanship alone, Finn is better than me.
He's also smart. I could tell from talking to Finn at the party that he was quiet, but quite sharp.
Unlike Neush, he doesn't show off his own abilities, but he hides his sharp claws to keep his guard up.
"Good Morning" (Lugh)
I smiled and greeted my classmates, and they all responded.
At least there doesn't seem to be anyone in the S class who would look down on me because I'm from baron family.
Neush said a couple of words with me, then went over to Finn.
Probably, he's going to attempt to make connection with Finn.
Neush would realize how good Finn is, and most importantly, his position as the second son makes him less tied down and easier to draw in, since he doesn't take over the house.
As he does so, the instructor comes in and rings the bell at the same time.
"You seem to have it all together. So, let's start with a greeting. I was put in charge of this class. Mile Dune" (Mile)
Like many of the instructors at this school, he has a well-trained body.
His black skin make him look like a tough guy, his eyes are sharp, and the air he wears is that of someone who knows how to fight.
"You have outstanding power in the school at the moment. .... but it's only at the moment. Six months from now, I don't know what will happen" (Mile)
Six months later. It's about exam time.
Depending on the results of the regular exams, the upper and lower classes will be replaced by a few people.
"I'm sure you're thinking about this. We are superior, they said, and there's no way we're going to be passed over when we have a more privileged environment than anyone else. That's true in a way ... but the persistence of those trying to crawl up is beyond what you can imagine. Or the talent of a genius who was previously incapable of learning well and smoldering, but now has learned and blossomed. Each time the members of the team have changed with each exam. Get a sense of urgency, or you'll be out of this class sooner rather than later" (Mile)
All the students have a strange look on their faces.
.....If you don't want your current environment to be taken away from you, you'll have to be willing to put your effort on like life on the line.
I was aware of this, but when confronted with it again, it's heartbreaking.
"So, let's end the preliminaries and start the class. In these two years, you will have to learn to wield a power worthy of being a sword in the Kingdom of Alvan and a culture worthy of wielding it. ... I forgot to mention one thing, you're getting the best environment possible. I expect you to behave accordingly, and S class is the face of this school" (Mile)
The students nodded and the first class at the school began.
The first is a lecture.
It's a history of this country. I looked at my classmates with a sideways glance and immediately saw that Epona, the hero, had been holding her head with her hands.
Let's say I'll teach you to study later and start a conversation.
Suddenly, I felt a hint of nostalgia.
I looked out the window and saw a white dove flying around.
It's a special message pigeon that we use in Tuathe Dé. This guy is trying to get to my room.
The only people who'd use it to contact me were my dad or Maha.
My father is rarely contacted, and it was only yesterday that I sent a request to Maha for additional research on the hero Epona, and even though she's excellent, I haven't gotten any findings yet.
If this is the case, it means that an emergency situation has occurred that Maha can't handle.
... Let's check it out as soon as the class is over.
If the sender is my father, it's probably an assassination on a super urgent matter, and if it's Maha, there's a ridiculously nasty case going on that can't be handled by Maha and her fake brother.
