"I can't get you out of my mind, huh."
She tried to calm her losing heart. "I always think about you too," she admitted nervously and weakly. "You were gone for three days, and I missed you, Alex." She hugged the young man tightly.
He also hugged her. "I missed you too much, Bariana. I didn't text or call because I finished all my work so I could go home right away." He caressed her hair. "Next time, I'll actually take you to New York, so I don't feel like I'm out of my mind while working."
She smiled and jokingly slapped the young man on the arm. "Crazy. I won't go with you, so don't even think about it."
He laughed softly and kissed her on the lips. "One violent move, one kiss," he reminded her.
She rolled her eyes, smiling. "Whatever-"
Bariana stopped speaking when someone knocked on the bedroom door. She and Alex looked at each other, and together they looked at the door of his room.
