Ace and Lena went down together, then they went hand in hand to the cabin.
The cabin looked cozy but small. Not that small and really singular. Single bed. Wood flooring. Simple yet elegant-looking furnitures. A set of sofas. A small bathroom. Small kitchen and a table only for one.
And Lena immediately felt sad. Ace was really alone for all these years that had passed. It saddened her. So she promises herself that she will never let him alone again.
She would always be with him.
She sat on the side of the bed. "Jordan?"
He was in the middle of taking off the outer garment. "Yes, moon cake?"
"Where will you sleep later?"
He was stunned and looked at her. "In bed of course."
Lena frowned. "So, I'm on the floor?"
"No, of course not." He approached her and sat down next to her. "Let's share."
She was shocked. "Share? Dad said only married people share a bed and…."
"Lena, how old are you?"
"Twenty-five."
