Damon Woke up from his luxurious King sitter bed that just blends with his royalty as Alpha King. He walked down to his study room that was well equipped with Books from ancient and Modern reign.
Funny enough he's a weird Alpha who prefers reading best seller novels to history books about the things of the world at large. But he hides this under a very cold and icy Alpha King who is strict to everyone in his life apart from his little sister, Princess Xena.
Xena was the only blood relative he had ever since his parents died. He was made King at a very young age and as such he was very excellent in his leadership.
He learnt to deal with the most difficult things, he had to fight to secure his pack and kingship. This was how he gradually grew into a cold, harsh and strict ruler. He is very powerful and brave that he gained respect and popularity over all other packs.
His employees at work suffered most from his harshness as he is a Boss who never give second chances to offenders and those who didn't get their job done perfectly. He was deemed perfect as he made sure everything concerning his company was the best.
After reading for an hour, he goes back to his room to freshen up for work.
Damon was described as the god of sexiness. He attracted both males females, she wolves and humans alike. He was never short of women as they approached him in good numbers.
Damon was tagged as the king of "A one night stand" because he never sleeps with a woman twice but very generous in the sense that every woman he slept with had the chance of asking for whatever she wants as a break up compensation.
He gave up looking for his mate since he was almost thirty years of age. Years back when he came of age, he searched for his mate,even going to different countries and continent but he never found her but as was tradition as the Alpha King of Red Moon pack, he had an obligation to his Kingdom.
This included him getting a Luna Queen who would rule together beside him.
For this reason he was made to form an alliance through marriage with Alpha Ferdinand Rudolph's second daughter Fiona Rudolph from Rising Moon pack in far southern America.
Damon had no choice as he was tired looking for a mate he never could find. Maybe the moon goddess forgot to give him a mate or he wasn't meant to have one he thought to himself.
So he agreed to the marriage though he did not find Fiona attractive and neither did feel any affection towards her.
He only agreed to the marriage so as not to give room for anyone coveting the throne or seeing him as unfit because he couldn't get himself a Queen or a mate.
Alpha king Damon owned the biggest modeling company in northern America and he's filthy rich. Werewolves, witches, vampires and humans were all employed in his company as he was not someone who favoured only his kind, you can say he is the impartial kind of Boss everyone loved to work for despite his coldness.
He gave credit to those who deserved it but he also never hesitates to sack those who are incompetent.
His modeling company being the best wasn't something that came to be in one day, it took him a lot of work, pain and stress to get the company to the standard it was today.
He laid off about anyone who did the slightest of mistakes, so whenever he was around everyone panicked.
Damon arrived at his company looking handsome as always. He wore a blue coloured suit, a white inner and a matching blue tie.
His short brown hair is neatly styled which gave him a sexy appearance, chiseled jaw line, deep brown eyes with sharp pointed nose. His skin is flawlessly white as snow which glowed.
"Good morning Your Majesty, our investor Mr Jacob Grey wants to have a meeting set up with you later this afternoon", said pearly his secretary.
"Schedule the meeting for three and tell Patrick to see me in my office as soon as possible".
"Okay your Alpha Majesty".
"How long will I tell you to stop using Majesty in the company?, three years and you still don't learn", Damon said with expressionless looking face.
Though Damon was king, he never acted as one in any way.
He preferred working and overseeing everything around his company rather than sitting home in pack's castle.
He preferred being called Boss in his company for he thinks the title of king only applied when he is in the castle.
"Sorry your.... Sorry Boss".
Pearly is a she wolf who has been working as Damon's secretary for three years. She's the first among ten Secretaries who lasted that long. Maybe this was because pearly was smart, very polite and isn't among those ladies who lusted after Damon and tried every means possible to get on his bed.
He hated seductresses the most who according to him are pretenders who only sought to be on his bed just to have the privilege to be gifted by him.
These women tried every means possible just to get a one night stand.
A few succeeded but after he gifted them, they were totally thrown out of the company for he saw them as useless and had nothing to offer him and his Company.
This was the reason pearly lasted for this long because she saw him as a big brother and also the Alpha and king of her pack and kingdom. If there was anything pearly felt towards Alpha king Damon, it was purely respect and gratefulness for giving her the privilege to earn money.
Shortly after Patrick came in to Damon's office.
"Hello Alpha Boss.... How can I be of help to you this morning?" Patrick said obviously trying to get a reaction from Damon.
Patrick is Damon's Beta and best friend, they were like brothers who always look out for each other.
"My sister princess Xena is getting married next month and am supposed to be there as a Father figure. Patrick you know how much I hate those gatherings and to make it worse Fiona is coming. You know how much I hate being around her".
"Well... Isn't this going to be interesting, a royal wedding is about to take place...wow...i love weddings. tan, tan ,tan tan...
"Patrick!, did you just hear only hear about the wedding?".
Damon was now seriously pissed at Patrick
"oops, sorry what were you saying again?"
Patrick was actually very excited at the news, but he also loved teasing the Alpha at times like this when he's in dire need of a solution
"I heard everything you said your Majesty and I think Fiona's coming won't be a good one knowing how proud and arrogant she can be."
"And that's why I need you to think of something, something to keep her away from me".
"But for how long do you plan on avoiding Fiona, you know the girl is head over heels for you, she practically see's herself as your Luna and Queen already. You practically avoids her like a plague, there is no escaping it Alpha.
Patrick never agreed to the Alpha's marriage alliance for he thinks Alpha Ferdinand was a cunning Alpha who wants nothing more than power.
Also he still wanted his Alpha to search for his mate just as he was still searching for his.
He believed the Alpha should not be forced to marry someone who was not his mate.
Alpha Damon actually knew all about this but he had to protect his throne at all costs even if it meant getting married to Fiona.
"Well you can't blame me, I have to be attracted to her before anything else but as far as attraction?, there's non.
I can't even have a one night stand with her, it's that bad.
Alpha Damon was very pissed and frustrated.
If only he could find his mate, he wouldn't have to accept a ridiculous marriage but he was done searching for her, he just have to bear with Fiona even though she's not his choice.
Beta Patrick feel so sad seeing how unhappy his Alpha was. He haven't found his mate either but he never stopped searching for her, unlike Alpha Damon who gave up the search and will soon be married to a woman he does not have feelings for.
If only he could do something about this marriage alliance he would have stopped it a long time ago, for he knew Alpha Ferdinand won't just settle for being a father in-law to the Alpha King.
Later that evening, Damon visited his personal club he called "D Max".
The club was made strictly for only the supernatural, though there are exceptions for humans who are mated to their kind.
The Alpha has a personal lounge in the club where he spends his free time in specially with the women he had his one night stand with.
The Alpha never took any of these women to his personal home.
He loved being on his own specially when he had a hidden hobby of his own.
Not even his sister knows of this hobby of his for he do not want anyone to see him as a weak Alpha king.
Most Alphas eyed his throne but for his coldness and the authority the possessed, he was able to make them shiver in fear.
One thing the his Father the late Alpha thought him, was to keep his life a mystery from the outside world, specially the humans for only a few knew about them.
Though there have been times when some wild werewolves attacked the humans in their wolf form, but those cases were properly handled and the wolves involved faced their punishment which was death.
That was how the werewolves have managed to keep their secret safe for many generations now.
