She was led into the mansion by Damon. When they got to the entrance of the house, Damon halted.
Maya felt a little numb. She peered at the time and it was past six in the evening. She knew she had made a grave mistake by coming with him to his mansion. She knew there was a great distance from where he stayed to hers.
What was she going to do now? He took a quick glance at him, worriedly.
"I know you are worried about the time, but I promise to take you back home myself."
"I'm not worried about work right now." She bit on her lips as she was just blaming herself inwardly for miscalculating everything.
"It's work right?" There , he got it. And of course she's worried about work. What will she say to Alpha Talbot now?
"I will personally take you to the office and tell Alpha Talbot not to be hard on you."
Mona gasped. She opened her eyes wide in shock the moment he said that.
