Ezekiel
My father's words still hung heavy in my head as I watched Ezra struggle to tie his hair up in a messy ponytail before wearing a cap. He insisted he needed to leave with a disguise and even though I knew no one knew who he was yet, I felt it was a good safety measure to take in place.
He seemed to be an expert at this, I guessed because he had been doing it ever since he had become an adult.
I knew it would not hurt to allow myself to fall in love with him. To give myself the opportunity to just be happy without worrying about all the consciences. Even though I knew he was upset with me I did not miss the subtle upturns at the corners of his mouth as he tried to hide his smile.
Just in four days he had changed so much. He was having more and more of a healthier glow on his skin, the little weight he had gained plus working out with his brothers had made him fill more into his body.
