Ezra
Ezekiel stared at me for a long time.
His words still rang in my head. Is that why he was so distant about us? There was always that air about him that made you wonder what was going through his head.
Knowing Ezekiel could not have children changed nothing for me. He was still the same man. Still the Greek god I pretended not to want but knew I would do anything to keep.
"You'd give me that," he let out a laugh from his nose and shook his head. He walked away from me to the window then ran his fingers through his hair. I wanted to snatch him away from there. I knew the curtains were closed but I wanted no one to see him like that. Dressed so indecently with his boxers riding low on his hips with a hard on.
He said it not as a question but as a statement. He knew I would. I did not know why I would but I would. Another reason to make him stay I guessed.
"I would," I nodded.
