Ezra
"I'm sorry," my voice wavered as I sat up on the bed. My head was pounding and my throat felt incredibly dry. I did not even remember at which point when Cloud caught us did I faint, but I was incredibly embarrassed I had to let Ezekiel have to explain himself alone.
He was in my bedroom. He was seated on the couch a few meters in front of my bed. His fingers ran through his hair multiple times as he let out disgruntled sighs. When he heard me, he wasted no time into standing up then rushing to me.
"Are you alright?" he kneeled down next to the bed and poured me a glass of water then held it out to me.
I gratefully took it, gulped down the water then placed it back on the bedside table, "I have a headache but I'll survive."
"You gave me quite the scare," he softly smiled. I expected him to touch me in some way but when I saw the bedroom door was open I knew what that meant.
