Ezekiel
"Wait a minute," I wrapped my arms around him just as we got to the centre of the maze. I covered his eyes with my right hand whilst my other arm was still wrapped around his waist then led him forward.
"This is exciting," he laughed as he practically hopped around in my arms.
When I removed my hand from his eyes he let out a small gasp. I did not have that much resources because we were in hiding after all, therefore I had to work with what I had. I quickly rushed to the picnic blanket and held up a bouquet of roses I had made. It took a lot of pricking and thorn removing but I feel like I had made something decent.
Plus I watched videos from the internet so I believed it was beautiful. It was a mix of red, white and pink roses. I had wrapped the stems with a beige silk rope I found in the craft room in the castle. Never had I ever done this myself but I wanted to make Ezra feel special.
