Since I had been working in parliament with Adonis, I had never been allowed to enter the official parliament meeting room as I was not yet officially crowned as a royal. I was recognised to be legally married to him but in Kommos only after a coronation ceremony may the partner enter the parliament discussion room.
Today however the rules had been slightly bent due to the current pending emergency and threat of war. I was dressed sharply in a black suit that matched Adonis's. We stood outside the grand golden doors of the room as guards waited for a signal to open the doors for Adonis and me.
